I appeared for FMGE June 2026, and after that paper I'm genuinely questioning how to prepare for January.
This isn't another "which app is best?" post.
I know the exam is becoming more integrated, clinical and competency-oriented. The June paper had video-based questions, integrated scenarios, and felt far less about recalling one-liners. That part is obvious now.
My problem is different.
I don't have strong fundamentals. That's the reality. During this attempt, I realized many "rapid revision" resources were actually my first exposure to topics. Obviously, that doesn't work when the paper expects you to apply concepts instead of just recognizing facts.
At the same time, I don't have the luxury of studying like a first-year MBBS student for the next two years. I have roughly six months until January, and I don't want to waste even one month on a resource that turns out to be the wrong fit.
I'm not asking:
Which app has the best faculty?
Which app has the shortest notes?
Which app gives the highest rank?
I'm asking something much more specific.
If someone has weak fundamentals but six months to prepare for the current FMGE pattern, which resource actually builds enough conceptual understanding to solve integrated clinical questions without becoming unnecessarily exhaustive?
I'm looking for answers from people who have actually used these platforms recently or appeared in the June 2026 exam.
If you changed your preparation after June, what did you change and why?
And please don't just comment "Marrow" or "PrepLadder." Tell me why you think it matches the current FMGE better.
Does gautam nagar is more of dating place rather than preparation spot ?? No offence just to clear coz my friends have told me millions of distracted things over the place and suggest me not to come if seriously want to study.. got confused.. help me out peeps
I can provide Marrow Plan B, upto October. Pls DM if anyone needs
I'm sitting for January 9th, 2027
Did anyone look into arise recall? I'm getting around 110 only! I'm so stressed
I took arise for fmge Dec 2025 , I started my preparation 5 months before exam , I was not very consistent ( I kno it’s my fault) so many bad things happened in life , broke up 10 days before exam , n I only scored 120 ,
So this tym I again took arise online , it was difficult at first but I really tried my best especially last 3 months , grinded too hard but couldn’t complete all subjects but I did almost 16 subjects, I was weak in pharma , but Obg, surgery were my strongest , in GTs I got 170 -180 range , but after this June exam , I felt like I was not prepared enough , After paper 2 I had a lil confidence which was shattered after watching recall of paper 1 , so many mistakes , I literally got depressed after that 😞 , i just can’t do this anymore I’m tired , my health is gone . Even my best friend of 6 years left me without any reason 1 week before the exam 💔still I didn’t ask her why , I just cried for 10 mins and started studying for exam , I suppressed all my emotions for that one day , still it didn’t go well . I’m preparing myself for everything now .
‼️‼️If I don’t get into this tym , I’m planning to go offline classes but should I continue with Arise or take Mist coz after this exam I’m really confused, Is fmge based coaching enough?
My first attempt of fmge was jan 26 . I scored 126. I had studied for only 3 months. Couldn't complete course and didn't revised anything. Then worked really hard for this june attempt. Deactivated social media no friends no nothing still I could study only 9 subjects properly and I am pretty sure I am failing again. I am 27 (girl) now soon to turn 28 . Even if I clear jan attempt I will be 29 by the time I will finish my internship. Then there will be pressure to get married. I really wanted to have a job before I get married. But that's not possible now honestly. I don't know where it went all wrong. I was really good in studies in school how can I become so dumb. All my school mates who were so bad in studies are enjoying life going on trip getting married some even some have kids. And here I am not even able to clear a qualifying exam. I feel embarrassed to even talk to them now . I feel so alone . I have no friends. I have disappointed my parents so much. I know there is no solution for it just wanted to vent out everything. It's suffocating me from inside. Wished I had never chosen mbbs.
So, I'm an FMG intern from Telangana, I passed my exam on July 2025 and started my internship from Jan 2026, I recently got my Provisional reg approved but my internship doesn't end until Jan of next year. If I want to sit for the NEET PG, even as a "feeler", is it possible? I did complete my internship (clinical clerkship) back in the Philippines and I have a valid certificate and all that. Is it at all possible?
I am planning to shift to Gautam Nagar, but I’m having a hard time deciding where to stay. Could anyone please help me with recommendations for a good place to live? Also what is bettr fr fmge prep saket or gautam nagar ??
If you have studied from 6+ months and was able to complete all the subjects and do pyqs and you're still not sure if you will pass. Then the exam was difficult.
If you prepared well you should the minimum be able to confidently say that you will pass if not the paper was difficult.
I definitely think the exam was difficult.

Just wanted to share my experience from the FMGE on 28th June.
Overall, the paper was moderate to difficult and definitely doable, but there were some things that felt unfair from NBEMS.
First, the addition of video-based questions was frustrating. In many cases, it was difficult to properly analyze and answer within the limited one-minute time frame. It felt like unnecessary pressure rather than a fair assessment.
Second, the exam center conditions were poor — no AC and inadequate ventilation, which made it physically exhausting to sit through such a long and high-stakes exam.
On top of that, the exam pattern felt quite different from what many of us were expecting. A sudden shift in pattern without enough clarity makes preparation harder and adds extra stress.
Not saying the exam was impossible — it was manageable — but these issues need to be addressed for fairness and better candidate experience.
Would like to know if others felt the same.
Heyy guys is there any open whatsapp group or telegram group where the latest updates about the recently held fmge are posted and there's an active conversation about when the result will be declared , if there is any can anyone please add me , please need some conversations about everything is and just being in the same boat gives me a bit of relief 🥹 please help your bro out guys if any group is there lmk ....🙏🏽 ( PS: i gave this 28 june exam )
Hey, i am studying in uzbekistan and i just finished my 2nd year, but i still have no knowledge on any subject. I wanna finish anatomy, physiology and biochemistry as of now. But i have no idea where to begin or what to study or where to study from, also which books are the best?
I would genuinly be pleased if someone gave me an exact idea of how i should be studying. I would like to know which authors are best for each sub. Also which platforms to study from.
Thankyou :)
Hi everyone
I am hoping to find someone who is in same boat as me.
I did schooling in India and moved to Australia to do graduate entry medical degree (BSc, MD) (US style)
Started medical degree in 2021 and graduated in 2024.
I have completed 1 year of compulsory training and currently hold complete medical registration with Australian Medical Council.
I have been trying to determine >!whether I need to pass the FMGE/Screening Test!< to obtain registration in India, or whether I qualify for an exemption.
In particular, I have been looking at the exemption that applies to graduates who hold:
a recognised undergraduate medical qualification, and postgraduate medical qualification from certain countries.
Anyone who is or has been in same situation, please reply. Any information is much appreciated
Thanks in advance
I’m studying Pharmacology for the first time, and honestly, it’s one of the subjects I struggle with the most. I’m planning to take the FMGE in December/January, but I’m finding it really difficult to understand and retain the concepts.
Can you guys share how you studied Pharmacology, what resources you used, and any tips that helped you overcome this subject? I’d really appreciate your advice. Thanks in advance!
