Was it worth the time and effort I could've otherwise expended seeking a romantic partner? No.
But did clearing the last challenge in that category give me a sense of accomplishment, however fleeting, in a life mostly devoid of achievement thus far? Also no.
On the bright side, I don't have to look at it anymore and the reward almost gave me enough atoms to purchase a single repair kit in the Atomic Shop.
People excited about being able to do old seasons, ok but it's old stuff. Next season looks like it should be called bloodspatter reskin moon, fiddling around with how legendary mods will be made? not new content either, just rearranging deck-chairs, infestations the same, just a slight twist on headhunts
Where's the second raid? Where's the continuation of the Ohio storyline? Where's anything for Skyline valley which is now empty pretty much? Even the atom shop has been reduced to a handful of new items a week, mixed in with a majority of old items
We're in a recycling phase in my view, and there doesn't seem to be any sign of an end to it. In 4 months if we sub 1st we pay enough money for a brand new game, do you feel you're getting that value or anywhere close to it?
Edit: people saying raven-rock, ok it's something but when is it coming out, and is that speed of content fair for the money we pay? Last genuine content was burning springs
Open Pip Boy. Look at "Details" of "Power Armor Chassis". Click "Rename". It was so simple, yet eluded me. I always renamed gear while repairing at work stations. Now I know better.
What else should I have already learned by now?
I hope you step on a Lego
With Bethesda announcing Legacy Seasons, next season we're basically going to have two season tracks to spend our tickets on.
So now might be a really good time to start hoarding Wanted Posters.
Do your Grunt Hunts, grab every Wanted Poster you can and throw them in your stash instead of using them. Once the new season starts and you eventually hit rank 100, Head Hunts are probably going to be one of the best ways to keep pushing SCORE since they count as public events and you can start them yourself instead of waiting 20 minutes for the next event.
If you start saving now, you could easily have 50, 100 or more posters ready by the time you need them. Get a few people on the same server doing the same thing and you can just chain Head Hunts one after another.
There's also another reason to hang onto them. Bethesda has been testing changes to Head Hunts for the next update, including having Uninvited Guest bosses show up in Head Hunts. It's PTS stuff so obviously it could still change before release, but that could make having a big stack of posters even more useful.
Just figured I'd throw this out there because I was about to start burning through mine and then realized it probably makes way more sense to start stockpiling them now.
Might be worth doing the same.
Wanted to make something Fallout-inspired but completely different from the usual dark wasteland look, so… pink Fallout happened 😂
Am I misremembering this? I recall a previous season where he was dropping 4*. He also dropped glowing masks for one day.....it feels very underwhelming this time around. Not even new blueprints either.

I found a seller only selling mods. But they were all priced at 40000 caps. Why would you do this, surely no one is going to pay 40 times the recommended price for a 1 star mod, and seriously think hard about that price for a 4 star.
Edit: So I didn’t actually know you don’t drop loot bags during an event. This was directly after when Bigfoot spawned. He spawned after both events. So I guess we weren’t actively in the event anymore. But my statement still stands.
Edit 2: Clearly the ones downvoting can’t read. It’s not about the junk, I couldn’t give a shit about the loot. It’s the way it was taken. This was not during an event. This was immediately after two events in the midst of the Bigfoot spawn. Twice to me, once to someone else.
I died twice during an event and I couldn’t find either loot bag. I just thought I couldn’t find them. Then we all went to another event and I watched someone stop shooting, run to downed player, waits for player to die, steals shit, continues shooting. Why? It’s just crappy loot. Stop it. That’s rude.
Is this like a thing? You die and your stuff is free game in the middle of an event? Because I don’t do that. It’s not my stuff even if it’s sitting there in a bag. It’s the principle. You know that person is more than likely going to look for their loot bag.
We’re excited to introduce Legacy Seasons and yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like.
Starting with “The Slasher” update this Fall, we will be bringing back one past season to sit alongside the current season so that everyone has a chance to earn rewards that they might have missed out on. Currently, a Legacy Season is planned to last for the span of one full season.
Legacy Seasons utilize the same ticket pool as normal seasons. This means where you spend your tickets is completely up to you. See something you like in the current season? Focus claiming rewards there. Did you miss out on an item you really wanted from a previous season? You can spend your tickets there as well.
The main difference between the two is that rewards in the Legacy Season must be claimed linearly. Current seasons will maintain their unlock flow.
For our veteran wastelanders, any reward that you claimed when the season originally ran (or any seasonal items you might have purchased through the Atomic Shop) will already be marked as claimed. Allowing you to immediately move onto the next reward. We have included a few new rewards in this Legacy Season, so make sure to take a quick browse to see what’s waiting for you.
We’ve put together the FAQ below to help answer some specific questions you might have.
Will there be a new type of Season ticket for Legacy Seasons?
No new currency is being introduced for Legacy Seasons.
Can I progress in the current season and the Legacy Season at the same time?
Yes! You can use your tickets for rewards in the current season and/or the Legacy Season.
How long do Legacy Seasons run for?
Legacy Seasons are currently planned to run for the full length of the season.
Will the original game board be claimable as a reward for the Legacy Seasons?
We view the unique seasonal game boards as a special commemorable item. And because they’re great indicators of who was there when the season originally ran, we are choosing not to include them as a reward for returning legacy seasons.
Will there be changes to Daily and Weekly Challenges?
There are no changes currently planned for Daily and Weekly challenges alongside this first run of Legacy Seasons.
Will Legacy Seasons continue to rotate in the future? Will this be the last chance to claim rewards for Armor Ace and the Power Patrol in Cold Steel?
Our current plan is to rotate through Legacy Seasons. So, while this won’t be your last time to claim rewards from this season, it may be a while before it reappears.
Can you let us vote on what the next Legacy Season will be?
Yes, we can! We have a poll live NOW in the subreddit so you can cast your vote between August 18, 2026, at 1 PM ET until August 21, 2026, at 1 PM ET!
Results from both spaces will be combined over the weekend, and we’ll announce the winning Legacy Season on August 25! The winning Legacy Season will begin alongside the release of our Winter update later this year.
What happens if I have already claimed all the rewards in the Legacy Season when it initially ran? Is there a bonus page?
There won’t be a bonus page for this first run of Legacy Seasons, but there is potential for us to add them in the future. Let us know what type of items you would like to see on a bonus page for Legacy Seasons.
Don’t forget, if you’ve claimed all the rewards from the initial run of a Legacy Season you should still check the page rewards. You might find a new reward or two added.
Will Legacy Season’s have their old gameboard art style and music?
Our goal is to maintain as much of the original experience as possible with the addition of a few new rewards. The music and art of the returning seasons will return, but the gameboard claiming experience will not.
deleted my last post because of lighting, its back and brighter
I’m only LVL 290 so I don’t have a lot of room to talk but. When you jump into a public event and there is only 1 or 2 other players there. Wait. You have a timer and usually plenty of time to start the event. Wait for help. I have been to many events and left because I was only player there. 😄
Appalachian Adventurers are in for a Fall full of FRIGHT, as the legendary name of the Pint-Sized Slasher is taken up by a murderous lunatic and his cadre of Slasher fanatics.
“The Slasher” is a frightening experience that unravels over the weeks spanning our Fall updates. Players will need to hunt for clues, dig up unmarked graves, and fight off fanatics INFESTING the map. Finally, a confrontation with the “Pint-Sized” imposter himself, where players have a chance to earn a unique Power Armor set as well as a new instrument of murder, the “Super Slasher.”
These activities are layered over the top of one another- as an additional layer is unlocked, the intensity builds and builds!
“The Slasher” is a first of its kind update for Fallout 76.
Along with this content, our Gen 9 boost that benefits players on XBOX Series S/X, PS5, and older consoles will arrive. All console players will enjoy better performance, stability, and visual fidelity. This upgrade also affords our team the opportunity to optimize each platform individually down the road.
Unique weapon crafting also makes its way to workbenches, allowing players to fully unlock their potential with the ability to change Legendary mods on any of the 80+ uniquely named weapons found across the Wasteland.
Seasons are getting an upgrade as well! From “Beware of the Blood Moon” and onwards, players will now get to participate in both a current season and a storied season from the past that they may have missed with Legacy Seasons. Check out our Legacy Seasons article for a more in-depth look at what that new feature entails.
We hope you’re ready for everything these Pint-Sized Fanatics have in store for Appalachia.
