My wife’s second anniversary gift to me

One of two cards that I need to completely sign my favorite Commander deck who’s artist have passed away. Now I really need to find a foil signed Players Reward Cryptic Command!

Tinybones Deck 100% mean not all foil

Unfortunately it is impossible to foil the whole thing out but thought people might still enjoy it. Ultimate goal includes the kaladesh sol ring, foil grim monolith, and an alter of tinybones who unfortunately doesn't have a foil option with this art.

Old Border Elves Saskia EDH

Finally putting my Saskia deck to rest. I wanted to make an Elfball deck and she let me do that nicely. I then started to turn it towards being all OB, as I just love the look.

A couple of non-foil holdouts due to me loving the art, like Karplusan and Brushland (or hating the current options, I'm looking at you Guardian Project).

Hope you guys enjoy looking at it as much as I did. Happy 4th!

Tangle Wire

It never stays on the table for long, but it usually does not need to. In artifact prison decks, a few turns of tapping permanents can be enough to make the opponent’s early game collapse.

Few cards make “untap, upkeep” feel this bad.

Highlights from my pet Terra deck

FF6 is my favorite game ever since growing it up playing it. Would take the strategy guide with me to elementary school and skim through the pages just wanting to get home and play it and explore every inch of the game. Was my first FF and will always be my favorite. So naturally when they said one of the precons was a 6 deck, i knew i wanted to make it my own, testing and tuning it while also blinging it out. Been loving the process of doing so over the last year and thought I'd share some of the highlights.

Over the All Form 🐙 💧

So these are just some posts of some of the most beautiful cards in this monstrosity of a commander deck I just built. Just play tested for the first time tonight against the horde and I had infinite mana before turn 6. This deck is insanely strong and also somehow my cheapest. I don’t think my friends are going to like this deck much though 😂 love to talk about this awesome commander though he is straight gas

Some of my favorite foils from my 2 pet decks

Last two aren't foil but are somewhat rare.

How do you know good modern foils?

It's no secret that the quality of foiling has gone down dramatically over the years, at least for the cards you get in a pack.

I'm not expert but I've seen recent foil cards that were so dark that the non foil version looks leagues better.

But is that a fixed rule that depends on the card or just another element of luck, where some copies don't look as bad? And in general, are other treatments better in terms of quality? Like if I buy an etched or a surge foil I can be sure it will look good

Old Vs. New Surge Foil

Both are great imo, I’m a sucker for the 2003 border though

Which shield looks better?

Can’t decide which shield to buy. Difficult when you can’t see them in person. The first seems more flashy, the second looks more like a magic card. In Europe they are the same price whereas in the US the first version seems to be going for double. Curious to read your opinions!

B3 Aurelia, the Warleader - starting my first full foil journey

Finally biting the bullet on my first fully foiled commander deck! I plan on having all 10 "Sword of X and Y" for full flavor along with stax creatures to hold them.

Most of the higher end cards are done. Just waiting for most of the aggro cards and rocks to arrive.

Still unsure of which basics to use. Leaning towards old border INV/ONS but open to the modern full-arts as well.

Pauper Sliver

Finally finished my full foil pauper Sliver deck!

Really happy with it, it's also pretty decent. I worked on the list for a couple months before it's finally playable enought.

95% foil Pauper Tron

Only non foil cards are Disturbed Burial, Kaerevek’s Torch, and Reverent Silence. There are currently no foil printings of Burial and Torch. Foil Reverent Silences are about $50 and I can’t justify splurging for a sideboard card that I normally rotate in and out of my list.

Love the art from Urza’s Saga, especially any depictions of Serra’s Realm (and Phyrexia)

Volrath the Fallen

The card never really lived up to the character. Volrath is far more remembered through Volrath’s Stronghold, but he remains one of the defining villains of the Weatherlight Saga.

Which Volrath card do you like most?

Teysa Karlov

Been playing this Teysa since she was spoiled. Deck is themed around old-school foiling and OG printings. Still looking to acquire more miscut tokens and swap the revised Demonic and Scrubland for FBB copies.

Deck is designed for Bracket 3 play as a midrange aristocrats deck with combo wincons.

thanks for looking.
