I created this Reddit account specifically to announce that I am going to be a surrogate! I'm currently keeping the secret from my sisters because I haven't matched yet. And although I know they will be supportive once it's a for sure thing, meaning when I'm pregnant, they may try to talk me out of it if I I say anything beforehand.

Yes, I am fishing for congratulations. It's just something I'm very excited about but can't really share with anyone I know right now. So if you don't have anything nice to say just move on.

I've decided to become a surrogate because I can't think of a more incredible gift that you can give someone than to help them start a family.

She already had one transfer that unfortunately was not successful and is about to go in for her second transfer. The meds and injections are making her feel depressed and I would like to do things for her to cheer her up (preferably low cost or free) worth mentioning we’re neighbors, she has two girls and I have a baby boy so we usually do things like going to parks, the zoo, etc…
Also, she was advised to take it easy aka no zoo or very minimal walking.
Just want to do something nice and fun for her. Specially since she recently watched our house while out of town and we help each other out a lot.
Already thinking of doing a mani/mask day if kids allow but can’t think of anything else.
