The truth is, I’ve been thinking for the past few days about how to get the FPKG for the CoD ports, but I’ve been having a hard time figuring out a way to do it. I’m posting here because I’m really curious to see whether what I have in mind is actually possible.

I’m relatively new to the PS4/PS5 jailbreak scene. I’ve always had modded consoles, but I’ve mostly focused on Xbox with RGH.

I currently have a PS5 on 8.20 with Y2JB, a PS4 on 9.00, and an up-to-date PS5 Pro. After messing around with this stuff over the past few days, my current idea is the following: I own the games legitimately, and I was thinking that since there’s a way to revert a PS4 firmware update, I could update the console, download BO1 and BO2 legitimately from PSN, and then revert the firmware version. I have some soldering experience as well, so that part doesn’t really scare me too much.

That way, I’d have both the games on their latest versions and the .rif and .idx files. From there, I could try mounting them and dumping the games in a decrypted state.

What do you think the chances of this working are? Does the idea make sense? If so, and things get complicated, I could also consider sharing the license.
