anyone got any info on this Wallfacer homie?? Collab with Fred is amazing production as well as these other two that have a very freddy vibe lol
Title
i absolutely LOVE what Dropbox did with Fred. truly a brilliant concept. i would honestly go to every concert with this system instead of having my phone out 80% of the time. i love it
Just saw this on eBay but didn’t get any presale/sale info. It’s the only one on eBay, and I can only see one other for sale on a different website (again in the thousands £££). Who has the vinyls??? How did you get them? Is this fake??? Does anyone have £2,999.99 I can borrow????
fred again like kammy kelly bleu to vibe and exercise with amazing uplifting, overlapping beats that gets the brain worked
Just casually found out, Piccolo is actually on Spotify, under the artist name of PacoOdioso (lol).
Kinda funny cause I've only been listening to it digitally from the vinyl rip on SoundCloud ever since the LP has been out.
Also it seems absurd to me that this isn't mentioned anywhere but then again it says <1000 streams
Or maybe I'm just stupid and for some reason I'm the only one who didn't notice this but now I'm really curious so let me know what's the case here 😂
EDIT: found the same thing on YouTube Music and Apple Music
Ordered on 4/16 but still hasn't shipped. Said three weeks. Anyone have theirs ship yet?
Anyone know this one? Sounds four tet influenced, maybe even a collab
Really like the track and it was dropped from my Spotify playlist and had to add it back. Anyone know why?
There was a moment that night,
standing outside ally pally,
where the night felt larger than itself.
When the cold bit through everything:
through our leather jackets
through our chatter
and through the nervous excitement
we tried to disguise as certainty.
We stood at the bus stop,
with our futures folded in our pockets
hoping this night we had built up for weeks
would let us in
Below us, London stretched out in lights,
each window carrying its small life
and above us,
something else was just beginning.
My heart was racing ahead of me,
nausea,
anticipation,
the strange anxiety of knowing
you are about to surrender to something bigger than yourself
and then we were inside
white sheets hung above us, turning the room into some kind of sacred tent,
a temporary world we had entered into,
built for music and movement
the rhythm was high,
my thoughts dissolved
there was no past,
no future,
only movement
everything around me was accelerating
and for once,
i did not want to slow it down.
I moved with it,
with the people I loved beside me,
i felt every ounce of heaviness,
leaving my body.
In that room with a thousand of strangers,
i felt a kind of love
that asked for nothing
just the unspoken agreement
that for these few hours,
everything was exactly as it should be.
there was only the beat,
the lights,
the people I loved,
and the overwhelming certainty
that to be alive
could feel this good.
Some experiences ask you
to let go completely
to disappear into the noise,
the movement
the shared pulse of everyone around you
into something larger than yourself
And in losing yourself
you return more fully
into the moment
how rare,
how human.
Fred heads in the Bay Area..The Midway 5/23, 10pm. Any goers?
what do you guys think
asking for a friend
Does anyone on here have ANY inkling about when he may be touring again??
I've noticed that both Fred again..'s newer music and cover artwork are much different from his older work. Across the Actual Life trilogy and Ten Days, Fred used a palette of bright colors and scenes, suiting the music built from small moments of emotion. The covers of his earlier work also feature images of regular people at their best and worst, but with one thing in common: the pure and relatable emotion. USB, by contrast, is blurred out and monochromatic. USB also uses images of prominent artists and huge crowds under spotlights, trading off emotion for energy. Actual Life and Ten Days used color to represent raw emotion in everyday people, while USB's lack of color conveys the simple euphoria of being at a show.
Can we talk about what happened with Vinyl Factory on the weekend?
They sold IRL006 to folks when it wasn’t released yet and refused to sell to others?
From what I’ve heard they were pretty snarky about it when asked, now there’s a copy for 3k on eBay.
Just got the results from the Spotify anniversary, and Fred has been my number one artist of all time.
Also, listened to Me (Heavy) 2007 times, clearly my favourite song 😅.
What were your results?
Attached goes the pictures of the results, let me know about yours!
I'm listening through the Dublin USB002 show right now, and the set from EMA starts with a sample of a speech at 23:58:15. Is anyone familiar with where the audio sample comes from? The sequence really gave me chills, incredibly powerful!!
