Why it’s so hard to find a freedive buddy?

Hahaha, all my freedive friends don’t want to dive anymore, or at least not as frequently as before. 😭
If anyone needs a dive buddy, feel free to hit me up!
I(f) live in Batangas City lang. 🤿 Been fun diving for 3 years now atleast once a month.
Not certified freediver yet, I want to but I will migrate to another country with no freediving access so fun fun lang muna. 😆

Are these still reasonable to sell for 3k?

Including the cheap long fin bag. I bought this nung 2019 pa, the long fins (Leaderfins, medium stiffness) were only used once. Or should I just dispose them? How?

Long Fins vs. Short Fins for beginners

Do you guys recommend practicing in short fins or mas better if masanay na sa long fins agad?

Context: I’m still fairly new sa free diving and I normally practice sa deep pool. Should I go with long fins or stick muna sa short fins?

Thank you!

Freediving for begginers

I'm (non-swimmer) planning to start my freediving journey. Is there anyone here who trained sa mga swimming schools within MM? Or would it be best if I train sa resorts? Pa-reco na rin po ng swimming school/resorts (Batangas only) where I can start, please? And baka meron dito naghahanap ng kasabay (female only) or baka may group po kayo sali ako😓🤣. Thank you!

Finally starting my freediving journey 🧜‍♀️

I’m planning to start freediving lessons next month, and I’m super excited (and a little nervous 😂).

The catch: I’m a non-swimmer. So yes, I’m basically starting from zero.

For those who’ve been freediving for a while, any tips for a complete beginner like me? Things you wish you knew before your first lessons, what to prepare, or mistakes I should avoid?

Also, any recommended coaches or beginner-friendly freediving spots near Manila? Preferably someone who’s experienced in teaching complete beginners/non-swimmers.

And hopefully, once I get comfortable underwater, I can finally do some awra pics too. 😂

Would love to hear your tips and recommendations! TIA

suggest free diving org pls

hello, planning to be a solo joiner (female) — yung 2d1n po sana. Right now, I am eyeing Vertical Freedivers. Kumusta po yung exp niyo with them.

Or if you could recommend others na super okay ang atmosphere, energy, and turo. Please do so :))

Beginner freediving mask

Hi guys, Im beginner freediver and Im looking for budget friendly mask as I dont have much time so freediving would be just occasional hobby. I was thinking to get Subea 900 dual mask from Decathlon but now I have also seen Seac Extreme 50 mask in sale for the same price as Subea. I didnt see many people mentioning Seac masks so I would like to ask if anyone has some experience with it? It seems like a well recognised brand but from what Ive seen most of the people are using different popular brands so it makes me wonder if it is good for freediving? Thanks a lot!
