¿Which version of Jason do you like more? Part 3 or the reboot?

no “reinventing the wheel”, just sticking to the natural formula and slightly adding extra things. A group of, probably like 13 stereotypical teens on crystal lake, unaware of the fate that befalls of most of them.
the final people are just some couple from the group, a guy and a gal lucky enough to survive the rampage.
jason is mostly the same. A normal human this time, but physically tank that easily overpowers everyone else, combined with a high pain tolerance and a high ranking belt in advanced jiu-jitsu.
the group is mostly what you’d expect. Dumb teens, maybe one or two assholes, and a few hopeless romantics that are failing to get any dates.
kills are relatively what you’d expect. Gory and bloody, but not terrifier levels, jason isn’t like that. Slashing, hacking, mostly with his machete, an axe one of the campers brought, and a bow & arrow jason made himself.
jasons death himself is a fairly simple, but befitting how awful he is. shot in the chest with his own bow & arrow and set on fire. A one and done fate for a one off remake.
I feel like this is decent.
In part 5. I bet she was hiding a nice rack under those layers of flannel and grime
It’s a reissue from 2023, but still super cool!! I love the glitter. Plays like a dream!
A few years ago, I made a map of Crystal Lake, but it had several mistakes and things I wanted to change, so I decided to make an improved version. (It's for a remake of Friday the 13th: The Game that I'm conceptualizing.) I also updated some of the Jason designs I had posted before. So, here it all is, enjoy!

Okay I’m one step closer to finishing my rewatch with part 7. From what I understand this one is pretty disliked? I can recognize that it has some serious problems but I liked it better than 6. First off (in my opinion) this one has the best look for Jason. The awesome face, the decomposition, the chain, I love it. Also I think Jason vs Carrie is a cool concept. I’m a huge Stephen king fan and a huge Friday fan so getting both in one place is perfect. (I know it’s not actually Carrie obviously, but Tina has the shining either way.) and yes a lot of the kills were watered down, but that’s also true for a lot of these movies including 6, which I guess is a fan favorite? If anything I think the kills were better in this than in six. The other being was a little silly but not as silly as the paintball scene or the fourth wall break in 6. The side characters were kind of one dimensional but that’s a lot of slashers. I guess I just don’t get why this one is so hated and 6 is so loved? Nothing against 6 either, it’s not my cup of tea but I get why people like it.
Current ranking- 2,1,4,7,3,6,5
In my opinion, Trish would have been a better story line than Tommy. She was bad ass…
Hey guys! Wanted to share my first custom mask project. I started with a basic, cheap blank PVC mask from china and completely overhauled it using local european hardware store supplies.
Anyone agree?
It's honestly one of my favorites, I think it's heavily underrated.
Love the chains and the metal mask, also the outfit being an olive faded green similar to his shirt in part 3-7 is better than the faded blue that looked more like something Michael would wear than Jason.
I like this Jason though, we get to see what he thinks, what makes him tick, and him having sympathy for Bubba is very wholesome and interesting for his character.
Gives him more complexity in my humble opinion.

they're just complaining about the mask. In my opinion, it's fine, but since they're just a bunch of 30- to 40-year-olds They want a design just like the original because they grew up with it,who can't appreciate something new, they're complaining.
They're a bunch of hypocrites who complain when the franchise is dead, but when it's alive, they complain about a mask.
I hope these perspectives make them change their minds.
In March 2026, Sean S. Cunningham stated in an interview with TMZ that a treatment for an "old school" Friday the 13th film had been completed. He also indicated that he and franchise co-creator Victor Miller had resolved their dispute, and suggested that a potential merger between Warner Bros. and Paramount Pictures could provide significant momentum by addressing the longstanding rights issues that had hindered the project.[150]
Unless I'm having a severe misunderstanding of what they mean by this here's the two things I think this means from the way they worded it here and if I'm wrong please correct me. The first thing is they filmed the whole movie it's done and ready to go they just got to do some stuff and get it released and the second thing is if they can get Warner Brothers & Paramount to merge and they work with them they can get the correct mask in the movie instead of that stupid Jason Universe mask, and I am going to take a wild guess and say if the first thing I thought is correct that means they made the movie with the right mask and they can't release it unless they get those companies to merge and they get permission to use the right mask. Is that what this means or am I a complete idiot?
It's built on a 1€ hockey mask from a store in my city, so it is not truly the real form, but the nearest I got. Hope you like it, and if you have some suggestions to make it better, please tell me :)
Honestly, I don’t mind this mask design as much as most fans. I view it as more of a side-grade instead of it being significantly worse than what came before.
In any case, I still knew I’d want to make my own version, and this is what I ended up with. This was made using Fear City Creations’ mask blank, with chevrons purchased from Big Hush.
