Now that Crystal Lake has a premiere date, here's what we hope to see in the Friday the 13th prequel

Out of curiosity, what do you hope to see in the Crystal Lake series? I'm looking forward to it, but I hope it's not all trauma-focused, since it's A24-produced.

What would Pamela think of her son becoming an undead monster? Would she be proud or horrified?

Also, what would she think of the fact her son was alive the entire time she went on her killing spree? Any regrets?

Made a hockey mask for my brother. Just waiting on the straps

My little brother wanted a part 6 top chevron with cheek chevron. What do you think? It was a TOTS blank that I drilled the vent holes to proper size.

4 Least favorite Jason masks IMO. Not counting jason Universe

Jason goes to hell's mask is made from a part 7 mold. But it's so battle damaged that it actually looks raggedy in my opinion. And the straps are uneven also, and it pisses me off.

Jason x the mask is too small and too close to the eyes, so you see jasons eyes way too much. Very few scenes where the shadows can hide them properly.

Freddy vs jason mask dosnt look good in general til the very end to me. You can see brush strokes from when they dirtied up the mask and looks artifical as hell. It looks like a little kid painted it in some scenes. I don't like the shape of the mask either. The eyes were way too visible also. they glued a fake droopy eye into the actual mask. And the scratches during dream sequence looks fake also.

The remake mask is too small. It makes his head look like a toe with a ingrown nail in some scenes. I like the shape I just wish they made it a little bit bigger. And it suffers from the dirt on the mask looking fake like FVJ. Not as bad as FVJ but it dosnt look like natural dirt either.

My least favorite of the 4 is the jason goes to hell mask. Jason looks like a bum with that mask, IMO.

And the Freddy vs jason is the next worst one. The paint job was hard to look at.

Followed by jason x

The remake would be my favorite mask of the series if it was slightly bigger. And the paint job looked more naturally aged. But like FV, I can absolutely see brush stroke marks of dirt in certain scenes.

While Chris is probably the best physical fighter of all the final girls in the franchise, She kinda has a week personality and characterization.

No matter how many times I watch this movie I can't seem to think of what her personality traits seem to be.

I guess she's kind, cautious, and traumatized.

Who else agrees with me?

Also what other personality traits you can describe to Chris that I didn't catch on?

Did Vic Overreact?

Every time I watch this movie with someone new I ask them the burning question, “Did Vic overreact?” Well, did he?

Friday The 13th Part V gets alot of hate, but the mask has such a heavy presence & the way Roy in the movie stares gives off such a big sence of dread.

Lore question about the mask

I was recently at the Film and Sci-Fi museum in Milton Keynes and they had a couple production-made Jason masks, and the plaque under them explained that Jason wore the hockey mask because "it was a reminder of the pain the game caused him as a child" (or something like that).

I'm just curious if this is something that's expanded on in the comics or something? I don't recall anyone saying anything like that in the movies, and I can't find much online about it but it seems like such a specific thing for a museum to get wrong? My assumption was that Jason was ashamed of his face and didn't really care much what was covering it after he lost the sack. It's an interesting take on the mask though, so if anyone has anything verifying it it'd be cool to see 😄

Thanks guys
