So what is my starting point?

I'm recently 18, and I've been on T about a year, a little bit on and off. I have about 1.5 inch/4-5 cm of bottom growth so far. I just want whatever is the closest to a cisgender dick. Phalloplasty would probably be best for me, but I want to know more of what the process would entail/what I should do to be more prepared for surgery/where to start researching.

>How to avoid bulky/overly long dick which needs revision?

>What physical traits are ideal for phalloplasty (skin qualities, bottom growth amount, labia minora and majora, etc). How do each of these things affect the final result?

>How many different sessions of surgeries/procedures/revisions am I realistically looking at it I opted for a full hysterectomy, removing overies, removing vagina, rff phalloplasty w/glans, and scrotal implants?

>What are the biggest complication risks?

>What are the options for making the ball sack? Is there only one way?

>What else would you urge me to consider before setting my goals?

>Can I get my dih pierced post surgery? What sort of piercings would be options?

Surgery overseas

I plan to have surgery overseas because it's at minimum 60k cheaper and much faster to access.

I'm wondering if anyone has had their phallo done overseas and what the experience is like with staging.

I would prefer to travel back and forth (either Türkiye or Thailand) to stage the urethral lengthening to minimise complications. Has anyone else done that?

I'm also wondering if it would be better to get total hysterectomy and vaginectomy before travelling overseas as that's actually affordable to do where I live. However, I worry about the timeline and compatibility with the overseas surgeons (what if they need to do something differently? idk).

I'm just starting to reach out to hospitals over seas via Bookimed, it's already not going well lol.

Any advice would be incredible.

why do people get unburied?

maybe a dumb question, maybe wrong wording, maybe not even the right term?

what i mean is when guys get surgery to have a penis but their original anatomy is still visible literally just below it? i’m not sure if i can use anatomical terms or not, so some may say they have ‘two dicks’ if that helps?

why?? why would you get that? what would be the benefits? hope this doesn’t come across as rude i just can’t understand why? is it less riskier surgery wise? is it to still have feeling for sexual reasons? what is the purpose of having those surgeries if itll still be exposed?

UK - C&W

Hi team Ive just had my first consult at C&W for phalloplasty and I was horrified.

The surgeon didn’t seem to know what she was talking about. She got basic facts wrong. She told me it was 2 nights in hospital post stage 1. I queried it and she said she was definitely right. NVH has 5 nights in hospital minimum, and they do less in stage 1. I asked about the complication rates, she said they “didn’t really matter”, but that there was a 60% complication rate with stage 1 that would require further surgery. She told me she didn’t really believe that nerve hook up works, but that she’d “try it anyway”. I started getting suspicious after all this, so I asked what her experience was.

She told me she had not done phalloplasty before and neither had the other surgeon on the team. She told me she had only observed phalloplasty over the past few years.

How is the NHS allowing these people to do phallo? Im trying to switch to NVH now because theres no way I am trusting her. Given that the NVH wait list isn’t as long as it has been in the past once you get your referral accepted, I regret my decision to switch massively.

Phallo in Michigan

I live in Michigan and have private insurance through an employer. It seems that the only in network surgeon that does ftm surgeries here is Hadj-Moussa, but I’ve heard Kuzon is the only one that does phallo. My insurance company is zero help. I asked for providers and they just gave me a be list of urologists in Michigan.

Is it true Kuzon is the only option here? He’s not in network for me. Does anyone else have Anthem/bcbs and know anyone that is in network?? Leaving the state will be very very difficult (if not impossible) logistically. Am I out of luck?!
