So bigbasket is now charging more than MRP for daily orders

So, we used to have a subscription with BbDaily of A2 milk. Now Amul or Mother diary A2 milk has MRP of 40 for 500ml packet. So for 6 packets, its 240.

Now BBdaily merged with bigbasket and suddenly my first 2 packets were at 40, and other 4 at 60. So straight away a 33% markup over MRP for a daily use product.

Since all the subscriptions have been carried over from BBdaily, most people might not even realise they are paying over MRP daily as they keep their wallets recharged. Some might realise at the end of the month when the balance which was supposed to last longer exhausted early, others might not care. In essence, they have made a joke of the consumer law of charging above MRP.

Anyone here who has faced similar issue?

Edit: This is what I call winning. BigBasket rolled back this within a day.

BigBasket says refund was successful, bank says no refund request exists. What should I do?

I cancelled a BigBasket order and was supposed to receive a refund of ₹470.26 to my AU Small Finance Bank debit card.

BigBasket's app shows:

Refund successful on 27 May 2026

Reference number: 21186371737

However, when I contacted my bank, they said:

They have not received any refund request related to this transaction

The reference number provided by BigBasket is not valid for tracking

I tried contacting BigBasket support, but the chat keeps auto-closing before I can reach a human agent.

Has anyone faced a similar issue with BigBasket refunds? What details should I ask BigBasket for (ARN, RRN, UTR, etc.) and what is the best way to escalate this?
