I'll need a real fan of the show
I'm a French person born in the early 2000s, which is why I'm completely unfamiliar with this (adult) series, which airs mainly in Canada. For a research project I have to do on Canadian culture, I’ll need a true fan of the show to explain to me what makes this show particularly Canadian. Are there any references or jokes in the show that only Canadians can really understand? How does the show depict the differences between Canada and the United States? Does the show play on stereotypes about Canadians? Which ones? And do you recognize any behaviors or habits typical of Canadian society in the characters?
Simply as a comparison to *The Simpsons*, what did you like most about this show, and why is it a satire of Canadian society?
Thank you very much in advance for your answers
