EA is ruining FC, what about the community?

Yesterday, one of the biggest Italian FC streamers posted some IG stories about the current state of the game, and honestly, he made some really good points.

He said that FC has probably reached its lowest point ever. The gameplay is terrible, the balance is completely broken, but for once, he also called out something that people rarely want to admit: the community is a huge part of the problem.

The whole point of this mode should be to build a squad with players you actually enjoy using, experiment with different teams, and have fun.
Instead, everyone is obsessed with following the exact same meta Paralluelo, Kika, Bonmatí, Stanway..
If you 15 Weekend League matches and face practically the same squad 15 times. It's honestly ridiculous.

EA is responsible for creating an unbalanced game and they need to fix it, but maybe it's time for the community tostart questioning how we actually choose to play this game.

He ended his message by saying "I won't be using broken tactics, op players, or women's cards anymore. I'm not asking all of you to do the same. I'm just asking you to think about it, and maybe give it a try."

RED Picks should be a staple reward of weekend league, and should be handed similar to how you get coins after completing.

It is honestly ridiculous thst you have to waste tokens for something that was given in ordvious versions of the game.

Not to mention how bad the picks are in the first place

The offside trap spamming, the fidget spinning, the high press with no punishment, the ”types of players” (you all know what I mean) that everyone uses, tackle backs, strikers defending like prime Maldini, tackles from behind, pace abuse, over the top through balls, laggy and glitched menus, inconsistent gameplay and servers, the passing, the garbage rewards and garbage pack weight, first post shots. THE FUCKING MATCHMAKING IN CHAMPS. The level of depravity this community alongside EA have turned this game I used to love into is disgusting. Win or lose it’s just TERRIBLE.

Rivals div 7 was horrible, div 6 is horrible, div 5 is horrible. Don’t want to climb ranks to my usual div 1 if this is what it’s like.

Live events are horrible.

Squad battles is horrible.

Champs is an actual horror show.

Evos are terrible.

SBCs are terrible.

The gallery is amazing.

FC 26 is an actual masterpiece in comparison and it was also terrible.

I am a casual player who is somehow 0-12 in the BTB event,
often losing by 5+ goals.

Wtf is going on.

Edit: now 0-16 and haven’t scored a goal in 4 games. Does fair matchmaking exist?

Edit 2: 0-18 with every objective besides wins complete.

Is this the first week there are no packs in champs rewards? Got 7 wins and only got tokens? Da fuq?

No shielding the ball, small players tackling through 400K strong midfielder shielding ball woth their back.

Community is worse this year

All the same formations

Absolutely everything about this game stinks.

I am aware every year has its strong points you kind of need to adapt too, but this is absolutely ridiculous.

Division 3/4 player. Tried multiple formations, multiple players of all price ranges.

Wondering if anyone else has played fut champs and felt like it’s infinitely harder than it’s ever been. I didn’t play last year but I was 11-4 most weekends on 25. This year I’m getting absolutely mauled and it’s by players I genuinely have no shot against they are that much better. Last week I was 8-7 and I’ve started 3-3 this week lmao.
