Additional perks for G tours
Hey fellow travellers!
I get quite a few questions about what it actually means to book a G Adventures trip through a travel agent, so I thought I’d put the answers in one place.
**Is it safe to book through you?**
Yes. I’m a registered travel agent authorized to sell G Adventures tours. Your booking is made directly with G Adventures, and all payments are completed through official G Adventures payment links. I never see, handle, or store your credit card information.
**How do I know you’re legit?**
Totally fair question, especially on Reddit! I’m happy to provide my professional contact information and agency details privately so you can verify who I am before booking anything. I just don’t post my full name/professional email publicly on Reddit for privacy reasons.
**What information do you need from me to get a quote?**
Usually just:
• The trip name
• Your preferred departure date
• The currency you’d like the quote in
That’s enough for me to check availability and pricing. I don’t need any personal information just to give you a quote. And once you want to move on to booking, I will need:
• Your full name, gender and nationality
• Your email address
• Your date of birth
**Are there fees for booking with you?**
No. I don’t charge you a booking or consultation fee for G Adventures trips.
**Will it cost more than booking directly with G Adventures?**
No. Actually, I ALWAYS offer an additional discount off the G Adventures price, including trips that are already on sale.
**So what’s the catch?**
There really isn’t one. I’m compensated as a travel agent through the booking, so you get my help without paying extra for it.
**What can you actually help with?**
I can help you compare itineraries and departure dates, figure out which trip best matches your travel style, answer questions about pace/accommodations/group vibe, provide insight into group demographics when available, help with flights if needed, and guide you through everything from booking to departure.
And if you have questions before you’re ready to book, that’s completely fine too. I’m happy to help you figure out whether a specific G Adventures trip is actually a good fit for you.
