Samsung Buds 4 Pro is pathetic

Was excited to buy this as soon as it launched and wanted to upgrade from my Samsung Buds 3 pro, and honesty it feels like a downgrade, all the reviews online seem fake and paid and I am trying my best to like this, but the ANC and battery does not at all feel justified at this price point compared to Apple Buds 3 Pro, it's day and night difference in regards to ANC.

Ben using this from the past 3 months and honestly feeling scammed at this point by samsung, not a single genuine review. Is it only my device in the world that sucks?

samsung buds infinite battery

My beloved buds ( R170 )

unleashed it's full potential and gave me the infinite battery.

jokes aside, will a battery replacement fix this issue and restore it's play time?

Look what I found...

So I was clearing out my tech drawer and stumbled across a pair of Galaxy Buds Live in 'Mystic Black', completely unopened and still sealed.

I bought them directly from a Samsung store 5 years ago in 2021. I have small ears, so I was worried they wouldn’t fit and never opened them. Instead, I put them away, which was obviously counterproductive...

Anyways, what are the odds they’ll still work after sitting sealed for five years? It feels a bit like a Schrödinger’s cat situation.

I'm still concerned about whether they'll fit, so I’m considering selling them instead. What would be a reasonable price for a sealed pair like this? Without ripping anyone off.

I came across a whole Buds Live appreciation thread earlier, so I’d love for them to find a new home with someone who’ll actually enjoy/use them!

Galaxy buds 4 pro significant difference in sound fullness/bass in ANC vs Ambient

Wanted to see if this was normal. On my galaxy buds 4 pro, when in ANC the bass and sound are significantly fuller and better compared to being in ambient mode. Anyone else experience this?

Edit- this is for music listening

Hiss in Ambient/ANC in a quite room (Buds4 pro)

So I've been noticing quite a noticeable and loud hiss on the buds4 pro in ambient mode, and a faint hiss on ANC. I bought these earbuds only a week ago, so I don't know if this happens with everyone or its a defective batch and if I should exchange these.

Please let me know if this happens to any of the galaxy buds4 pro users 🙏

Wearable app greyed out problem

I've bought some Galaxy Buds 2 Pro for a quite nice price and connected it perfectly through Bluetooth however once I have signed into the app everything is suddenly greyed out

What size should i get?

Im planning to order these eartips since alot of people recommended them to me, and from the stock tips the smallest ones fit for me,so should i also get the smallest size here or is it different size than stock?

No better earbuds out there?

Hi. I've had my buds2 pro for over 2 years now and I'm more than satisfied with them. Before them i had the buds pro which i liked more right after getting my new buds2 pro (maybe because of the fuller and punchier bass) but with time i realized that the sound is much crisp and more clean on the buds2 pro. Now, I've recently started to look for new earbuds, I've testet so many models from other brands like Sennheiser, B&W, B&O, bose (and other) and even the new buds4 pro BUT, i don't know how and why, i cand find any other earbuds that sound better than my current buds2 pro. Not even as good as them. Their audio quality is just so much better than any other I've tested, and I've been even more disappointed when I've tested the new buds4 pro, thinking they would be easily much better than buds2 pro. It's safe to say the ANC is much better, bud I'm looking for a better audio quality, not for other options like better ANC or hear through. Am i the only one that goes through this? Am I too picky when it comes to sound quality on earbuds? Some suggestions?

P.S. : I'm a house music producer in my spare time and I've been using my buds2 pro for production (even though i need to invest in some studio headphones) and they perform very well, the audio quality never disappointed. Now I'm looking to buy new buds because their battery has gone bad since I've literally abused them by wearing them for hours every day and charging them multiple times a day.

Advice before purchasing Buds4 Pro

I need an opinion here

I'm currently using the Buds FE but I've been dealing with glitching and mic issues since day 1 so I would like to move on from them.

I bought the Buds3 Pro a few weeks after they were released and used them for about a week before reselling them for a massive loss because they were a horrible fit in my ears and caused me a lot of pain.

My question is: Would someone who struggled massively with the buds3 pro have trouble with the buds4 pro?

I would like to get pink gold buds4 but I don't have the appetite to spend $200 only to sell them for half price a week later because they don't fit or can't stay in my ears without wobbling.

Query regarding Galaxy Buds 4 Pro

I currently bought Galaxy Buds 4 Pro from amazon.

I want to ask a question to people who are using the buds.

If your case battery level is below 10% and the buds are not in the case, does opening and closing the case makes the red light blink or not? Because mine stays on for 5 secs. It does not blink. But according to the user manual available on the site it should blink.

So please could someone confirm??

BEST Samsung earbuds with no ANC?

Long story short I had the Galaxy Earbuds R170 and they worked so well for so long but cleaners in my house lost them.

The battery lasted so long, the sound quality was amazing, they could take a beating, their was no active noise cancelling which I prefer, they had fins that helped them shape into your ear which helped during heavy gym sessions and the silicone tips doubled as ear protection for loud music which helps greatly as I am a musician.

What is the closest Samsung model to these old, but amazing pair?

At what point do you typically upgrade your earbuds?

I have a pair of Galaxy Buds Pro (purchased early 2021). Seemingly still going strong, and just took them for a long test run, and the battery is lasting just over 3 hours of continuous playback (with ANC). Got a long flight coming up, so thinking maybe it's time for an upgrade (I know no buds will last a long flight, but hoping for more than three hours).

Outside of complete a complete failure, when do you guys usually decide it was time to upgrade?

Worth the upgrade?

Just curious if anyone upgraded from the buds 3 pro to the buds 4 pro? The 3 hurt my ears so i feel like i cant wear them much. Any input is appreciated!

Any way to find closed, empty buds case?

I have my ear buds, I don't have my case. It is somewhere in the house, closed, full of battery charge. Is there any way to locate it or make it sound an alarm or something?

Early birthday gift. Buds 4 Pro. I usually prefer to get my earbuds in white. But these looked Hella clean in black. Hopefully these don't have the paint failure issue like the silver buds 3.

I definitely appreciate the return to form on the case.

Galaxy Buds FE Keep Falling Out — Need Detailed Fitting Help

I’m trying to use the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE, but I’m having a really hard time getting them to fit properly. Almost every time I put them in my ears, the fit test fails. Even after spending a long time trying to position them correctly, getting the fit test to pass is surprisingly difficult. And whether the fit test passes or not, the earbuds still tend to work their way out of my ears and eventually fall out. One pair of earbuds was damaged after falling out, and I’m now using my second pair. I’ve tried different combinations of wingtip and eartip sizes, but I still can’t get a consistently secure fit. I really need some detailed guidance on exactly how to put the Buds FE in my ears, including the correct angle, rotation, and how the wingtips are supposed to sit. A video that actually demonstrates the fitting process clearly would be especially helpful. Most of the guides and videos I’ve found so far are very basic and don’t really show the process in enough detail. I’d really appreciate any advice or practical tips from other Buds FE owners who have figured out how to get them to stay securely in place.

These are absolutely incredible!

I am not easy on my electronics whatsoever.

Paired with my Watch 4, Fire tv, S25 Ultra, M52. Seamless transition between devices.

ANC is on a different level.

Customisation & software experience is top notch.

The nearby device option is seamless.

No complaints. Just praise.

Good work Samsung, these have affected real positive changes in my life.
