Anyone else's Buds4 Pro randomly switch from Ambient Sound to Noise Cancelling?

I've been trying to figure out if this is normal behavior or if something is wrong with my settings.

I keep my Buds4 Pro in Ambient Sound mode while I'm working. But whenever there's a sharp, high-pitched noise—like a squeaky door hinge or even the "S" sounds in my own voice—the earbuds suddenly switch to Noise Cancelling for a couple of seconds before automatically going back to Ambient Sound. I am using my Buds with an S26 Ultra and Watch Ultra.

A few things that make this confusing:

- Adaptive Sound is off.

- This is my second pair of Buds4 Pros.

- My first pair did the exact same thing, so it doesn't seem like a defective set.

The biggest issue is that it happens during conversations, so people's voices will suddenly get muffled for a second or two before Ambient Sound comes back.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a known software bug, an intentional feature, or is there a setting buried somewhere that I'm overlooking?

I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who's been able to fix it.

Is ANC really important?

I can't decide between Buds 3 FE and regular Buds 4. I heard Buds 3 FE ANC is even better than 3 Pro's but i think Buds 4 should have better sound quality since they are newer. What y'all think?

Is it a crack?

I maybe dropped it from my ear once or twice , i can't understand why a high quality earbud can crack with a minimal drop.

Ear Hooks for Samsung Galaxy 4 Pro: Part Two

I posted a month ago about wearing ear hooks with my Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro in my small ears. Link to Part One

Unfortunately for me, the in-the-ear ear hooks began to "soften" after about a month, and would take me a few minutes to adjust them so that they would hold. Even then, they would still occasionally fall out of my ears.

Instead of using one of the other two in-the-ear hooks that came with the kit, I decided to get the kind of ear hooks that goes around my ears to see if they would work better. I stalked Amazon to see if anyone was selling them for the Buds 4 Pro, for a few days. Weirdly enough, the same company made the in-the-ear hooks also made the around-the-ear ear hooks. Amazon link

So a couple of days ago, mine arrived. According to the link, these have a "memory titanium alloy" inside the hooks. I've been wearing them around the house, and again, so far so good. I'm just hoping that the silicon part of these doesn't soften like the in-the-ear ear hooks did.

These around-the-ear ear hooks are my last hope to preventing them from falling out of my ears. I really don't want to have to use both kinds of ear hooks just to be able to listen to music.

Not affiliated with this company, just a customer with small ears spreading the word that these seem to work for me.

Great.

As I was trying to remove the ear tip form the galaxy buds 3 pro it just torn.

Anyone knows a way to get new ones and if yes from where? Unless there is some kind of a fix. Thanks in advance!

Buds 4 vs Buds 3 FE (i can not afford pro's)

Well, question on the title. I'll go for a vacation next week and i want my earbuds to be ready. I'm really confused about Buds 4, many people say it have worse ANC and battery life, but sound quality should be better than FE's right?

Buds Pro 4 Fit

Hey all - bought some Pro 4s on release, intially I was SUPER happy with them, sound was good, battery life great, ANC was upgraded from my previous ear buds BUT the fit has progressively got worse for me.

At first I felt they were the most comfortable ear buds I'd ever used, then after a month or so I started getting a slight pain in my ear as if the bud was too far in - I changed the tip to a bigger size and for the first 10/15 minutes, the fit is great but then they always end up moving out. I'm having to readjust them (especially if I'm at the gym) to get the fit better and therefore the sound.

Anyone else having similar issues?

Planning to buy the Buds Core - your thoughts?

I'm generally not a huge user of Galaxy Buds, I prefer over-ear headphones. Currently I own a pair of OG Galaxy Buds that doesn't see much use, but I feel like I would benefit from having a newer pair without breaking the bank.

I can find the Core for 50$, and for the price, it seems really solid. ANC, good battery life, good enough sound quality, just what I need.

I wanted to know if anyone else owns this pair and can give me their experience on what it's like in terms of sound quality, build quality (longevity), how good the noise cancelling is, whether it can still handle the smart features (your auto-switch, for example), et cetera. If it helps, I use an S22 Ultra and a Tab S7.

Buds 3/Buds 4/Buds 3 Pro - which one would be good for me?

Buds 3 and Buds 4 price difference is really close in my country, and Buds 3 Pro and Buds 4 Pro prices are also close. Buds 3 is 108$~ (5000TRY) and Buds 4 is 130$ (6000TRY), while Buds 3 Pro is 217$(10000TRY) and 4 Pro is 230$(11000)

Buds4 pro how do they hold up?

Looking to replace my buds pro first gen I've had since release. For the price the buds4 pro look appealing with my other option being 100$ less and the earfun pro 4+. Are the galaxy 4 pro worth it? Running 179$ right now brand new for the international version and I've never used a warranty before so the savings are worth it. I work in a noisy shop and my buds see alot of abuse, dirt and cleaning usually by chemicals I shouldn't be using. Just need something not held together by tape and super glue

Considering getting Galaxy Buds 3 Pro

Hello everyone.

I've been considering getting the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, since I currently own the Huawei FreeBuds 5i. Well, they have served their purpose for the price for the last 2 years, but the battery is starting to degrade and the sound isn't wow anymore, plus a couple of other issues I've been experiencing. Since I have almost fully switched to the Galaxy ecosystem (Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy Watch 8 40mm LTE), but I also have a MacBook Air M4 (switched from Windows), I have been considering the Galaxy Buds lineup, especially the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro (I don't like the base ones because I hate buds without the eartips).

I currently use the buds mostly for music (rap, trap, hip-hop, I prefer bass and deep sound), video editing (latency matters but not that much honestly, also handy to have a flat sound profile mode), but also for calls (VoLTE and VoIP apps) and rarely, gaming.

My question is, for the price (100$), is it worth getting the Galaxy Buda 3 Pro? For instance, the 4 Pros are 190$, so I don't think it's even worth considering them. There are also the FEs, but they are 70$ so the price gap isn't huge. My concern is the build quality as I heard they're pretty low quality, the blaze lights being uneven, the case coming off, and so on.

I also want opinions on sound quality (how deep the sound is, bass, clear vocals, and so on), battery life, durability (as mentioned earlier), latency, special features that I can unlock with my devices, ecosystem, and MacBook compatibility.

If they don't fit my use case, are there any other good alternatives?

Thanks in advance.
