[Hiring] Student looking for a small team to make a Pixel Gun 3D-inspired game (Unity)

Hey everyone!

I'm a student and I'm starting a small project under NeonFlux Productions. The goal is to create a multiplayer FPS inspired by Pixel Gun 3D using Unity.

I'm currently looking for:

- 2 Unity programmers (UI/UX design experience is a big plus!)

- 1 Builder / Level Designer to create maps and environments.

- 1 3D Animator to model, rig, and animate the player characters.

Please read this before applying:

Since I'm a student**, I have a very limited budget, so I can't pay much. I want to be completely honest about that.**

Payment:

-10-15 CHF per month, paid via gift cards. The gift card must be available in your country/region (I'm based in Switzerland).

I know this isn't a high salary, so I'm mainly looking for people who enjoy game development, want to gain experience, build a portfolio, and work on a fun long-term project with a small team.

If the game becomes successful and starts making money, my goal is to increase everyone's pay.

If you're interested, send me a DM

[PAID] Looking for 2D pixel artists for multiple lightweight commissions

[Positions filled, thank you for your time!]

I'm finishing up my second game and i need to replace the placeholder art of the character, terrain and main menu background. The work is lightweight and the quality demand is relatively low so it's a better role for aspiring pixel artists rather than established freelancers.

Budget is fair but not premium, if you're a high level artist not willing to take on a lighter job then you are unfortunately overqualified.

A short video showcase of the game can be found here, tho the game is not yet public.

If you're interested in either of the positions please leave your portfolio and price range in the comments, DM me on here or send an email to solardev.lfg@gmail.com which would be the more sure way of reaching me.

Play Store terminated my account so I'm putting it for free for everyone (Website link included)

A year ago, I found out about Visual Novels and RenPy. Always had a passion for stories and games. So, created a short political narrative-drama set in neo Mughal-Ottoman era. Sultan: Save Your Empire! Didn't know programming. So, just took help from a friend who was kind enough to do it. Wrote the script. First, in Urdu, since I wanted to target the subcontinent audience. (Indians, Pakistanis, Bengalis etc. everyone understands it.) However, a change of plan happened midway and I decided to shift to English. Translated the whole script. Used A.I for image generation. After a few weeks and some tweaks, the game was ready for launch. Went on google play, made a merchant account, and completed all the requirements (fee, close testing etc). When everything was done, google just decided to terminate my account. All the hard work wasted! The fee gone! My programmer friend was again kind enough to console me. I tried emailing Google alot. But nothing worked. I, afterwards, even took the matter to LinkedIn and wrote a long semi formal critique-filled rant but it fell on dead ears. Saw a few reddit posts and turns out many indie Devs faced similar treatment from Google. Read a post there that in 2023 alone, around 43% of indie Devs had to face termination. Now, a year has passed since then and I have decided to put it for free for everyone.

You can visit my website and play Sultan: Save Your Empire online for free. In future I might add some more titles.

P.s: The Lost Cipher isn't playable because it was a project I made for a client a month ago.

Play and Peace!
