Flock cameras in garland
They are using flock cameras for way more than the stated usage. The cops are abusing this system already and it’s barely even implemented. Who voted for this?

On Friday, July 31st 2026 at 1:10 pm I was hit on my red motorcycle from behind on the corner of Market St and Wood Dr near Shiloh Road, next to the firehouse. The At-Fault driver was in a black Chevy Silverado. I was hit from behind while slowing down to make a turn. The driver and his insurance company are NOT accepting fault. If ANYBODY was there, please reach out. There were multiple witnesses that didnt stay at the scene. If your out there, please help! Thank you!
Please help us find Camilla. Contact the detective listed in the image if you believe you have ANY information.
Im just super curious as to why they would change it since it has been “flaming” for as long as I’ve know about it
Feels like our rates are higher than the rest of DFW
I'm looking to give away a free Meshcore repeater to someone who can install it on their rooftop or high up place in an effort to build out the Garland mesh. If you live in this area and would like a free repeater (looks like this), hit me up!
I’ve been finding these random pokemon cards like in every store I go to, i’ve seen them while shopping at kroger or target and i’m wondering if anyone else has seen these mystery cards around😭 or am i the only one, and i’m just going crazy??
Has anyone else noticed that the Fedex drivers in Garland are now dropping off in the alleys instead of front porches now? I mean WTH?
This is the second time in the last few months I’ve had a college aged kid ride up to my porch on a hoverboard to try to sell me pest control services. Has anyone else encountered this same thing? They seem to be going door to door and from what I’ve read online this has been a popular scam lately.
I’d love to see you there. Please comment for further details on how to reserve your spot! If you’d like to paint a blank doll created by me, you can reserve yours today for $30!
The event will be hosted by Main Squeeze Juice Co in Garland. Your ticket includes a smoothie, refresher of bottled juice! We’d love to see you there! This event is for beginners and also experienced artist.
Never seen this fella out front. Only in the back. Sounds like heat exhaustion. Stay cool my fellow cats and kittens.
I was just out walking my dog when I saw a man with a gun in the silhouette of a street light so I shouted at him what he was doing. It was a neighbor who has been complaining about the armadillos lately carrying a pellet rifle. He had just killed an armadillo and left it for dead on the sidewalk next to another neighbors yard. He tried pacifying me by claiming the animal had been in his yard then by saying he was just trying to scare it, not kill it. He also claimed it's our fault the armadillos are getting into the neighborhood (not sure about that).
Is this legal, to hunt them in our neighborhood like this? It is too close to my house for comfort. I'm not anti-gun or anti-hunting, but in my neighborhood? in someone else's yard?
Update: I went back to photograph the corpse but it was gone only a couple of small blood stains on the sidewalk, his yard smells extremely rotten the stench is strong walking by it. My guess is he's killed at least 3 or 4 armadillos now. I've decided to place game cameras in our area of the greenbelt and see if there's anything I can find that way to keep the armadillos from their property.

Hi, I'm working on a fan project set in the Fallout universe, covering the entirety of Texas. I'm currently working on potential settlements that could arise in the post-war area of Garland. My question is: in your opinion, what surviving districts/neighborhoods could attract local survivors, either because of an abundance of a certain resource, such as water or food, or because they have such a strong identity that they ABSOLUTELY need to be included as a settlement?
Thanks! ^^

Does anyone know what is going in this building (801ish MAIN STREET, Downtown) or name of it? Just curious, i heard coffee shop but just wanted to see if anyone knows. Looks like construction is almost done but no sign yet!
Not sure what they are going to call it yet. I 55m used to play golf here all the time years ago in my 30's. Had so much fun, it was really a chill place. They raked the whole property and now have the roads and utilities staked. I almost want to buy a new house here when they get built so I can live on the course that I had great times at. Sorry for the high-vis attire, I took these from inside a landscaping van. Next time I go by her I will get out and take better pics.
