I'm looking into fixing my recessed chin and I can't decide between a chin implant and genioplasty.

I was originally set on genioplasty, but it costs twice as much. Also, the doctors I talked to said that while it would improve my profile and chin height, it wouldn't fix the slight dips where my chin meets my jaw. I'd probably need fillers for that anyway.

With an implant, it can sit along the jawline a bit, so it might hide those small indentations.

I used AI to add a 5mm implant to my picture so I could visualize it, but I'm not sure if this is what it would actually look like.
