hey , I applied alumni scholarship for gitam , which was 10 percent , but it came rejected after like 3 weeks ig , the thing was I’m feeling prolly It was bad a I didn’t apply their 10th certificate , my father was like why would they want 10th at all , is this the reason they rejected or smtg else ?

Currently, I am in my 2nd year. They have started Data Structures, and I have a doubt about how we should write in the midterm and semester exams. I don't know C language but have just learned C++ and Python. How should I write in the exam? Does knowing C language have a huge impact on our GPA, or is Python enough to score HIGH marks?

I want to ask the seniors about this student induction thing. Like, what is it even about? What will they teach us here? Is it even necessary? Also, will the actual classes start as soon as the induction ends? I really hoped the college began in August after the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, because my parents put a stupid condition that you can do whatever you want in the holidays, but you can't as soon as college begins. I don't know, they've got some kind of hate against watching films in theaters—maybe because I watched around 150 films during my Intermediate. I am a movie buff and can't handle the FOMO of not watching this movie on the big screen. I have pre-booked my tickets for it and now I am worried whether I can go or not. I know it sounds really stupid, but yes, it is what it is.

How do scholarships work. Like, i originally got 40% scholarship in GAT exam conducted on May 1st. after attending interview i got 75%. My waitlist no in 120-130 range. I had other unis as option but many of them have deadlines fast approaching and my family have to arrange tuition fee within that time. I was planning on joining gitam if i got scholarship but the number seems so high. What to do, please help. Can i potentially get scholarship, My course is cse ai ml.
My cousins are both gonna join vskp campus cs, How hard is it to maintain 8+ cgpa? One has 75 percent scholarship and other below 40.
I just want them to have good cgpa so they than opt for higher studies without any problems. I heard gitam changed its rules recently as well.
i dont know why gitams isnt giving a solid answer but if anyone can get a proper answer it would be so helpful. i called hoa abt some query about the provisional fees and found out i was on waitlist and wouldnt get 60% scholarship but i attended interview for tp and got 100%. i had some other query unrelated to this and called hoa again and he only decided to tell us they might give everyone who got 100% their scholarship regardless of their waitlist position and got us excited. now when i call he keeps saying it will get updated soon. now induction is starting in a week and they asking to pay fees. i called him 3 days ago about when to pay the fees cuz i gave up on the scholarship and he only said you might get scholarship by july 1st week. like j lmk properly and stop giving me hope. im lowk scared to call again so what do i do cuz how can you not know if ur giving the scholarship or not, just decide and stop playing around.
So im a senior now. I've hated this college sm the last year cuz I got into way better colleges but my family forced me to go to gitam. Now that i realise, if we put aside the campus and (maybe placements idk idc) the food at hostel is good, college is good, syllabus and the way classes are structured is good, the freedom they give us is good ( i mean no dress code stuff like that and them leaving alone couples, ofc except the security team but only if you go extreme), the fests are good, clubs are good, exposure is good, student life is good. But now that im testing all of this, i also realise that its the people. I isolated myself from my peers sm, never initiated to talk, and a lot of stuff. When you have good friends to enjoy all these facilities with, pretty sure you won't regret coming here. I just feel like there's nowhere else I can put this at, so im telling yall all of this. But yeah. Making good friends and not being naive would play a big role.
So i wrote gat 1st attempt reserved a seat in ece, with scholarship by paying the 1 lakh deposit, i have also payed 57k for transport and was wondering if gitam will refund me if i choose to go to another college mid july (17-20th july) as according to the emails im getting this is when orientation for freshers is starting.
Im guessing they wont return transport fees, but they arent clear upto when i can cancel my admission so if theres anyone who can help me it would be nice
