Hey guys!
🏠 I am looking for female flatmate ASAP
Looking for a female flatmate to share a great West End flat 5 mins from Partick station. I’m a quiet, neurodivergent creative living with one cat, looking for a compassionate friend rather than just a co-tenant. The home is a peaceful, party-free, and sober/highly temperate space. Rent is £625 (deposit £937.50, bills approx. £145 including council tax). Must be LGBTQ+ and migrant friendly, and comfortable sharing the main bathroom due to my sensory needs. Send a message if this sounds like a good fit for you!
My mother-in-law passed away and I will be travelling to England for her funeral when this gig is on. This is a Black Sabbath tribute band who also happen to be rock/punk band, Cancer Bats.
It's a physical ticket as online tickets were not available fof purchase. I don't live in Glasgow but Falkirk so would need to post the ticket to anyone outside of Falkirk. I am happy to cover postage. Just don't want the ticket going to waste.
PM me if you want it and what address you want it sent to.
Update: The ticket has been claimed and sent off :)
Ticket master transfer when transfer window opens, can show proof of purchase.
Hi all! I have an MCR vip/golden circle ticket for the gig on the 4th. I’m from Ireland and would have had to travel and unfortunately due to other commitments I won’t be able to go. Just reaching out to see if anyone here would be interested? I know it’s short notice but really don’t want to see it go to waste :) I paid €360 for it and would be willing to part for about €230-250.

What is the purpose of this study?
When people navigate buildings they form a mental map of the layout, which they can use to find their way around in the future. This project will investigate what information people use to form their maps. We will use desktop (computer) for virtual exploration of the building. We will also use questionnaires to obtain demographic information (age, gender etc.), some simple tests of spatial and other types of mental ability, a map drawing exercise and a short debrief interview.
Hi I am a university student and I am looking for computer monitor for free. Currently not in a situation to pay for them. Can anyone tell me where I can find one. Been looking on Gumtree, FB Marketplace for a while but no luck
Hey guys.
Does anyone have a spare ticket for Metallica tonight at Hampden?
Cheers
I am desperate for Hayley Williams tickets for one of her Glasgow shows this weekend if anyone is selling?
Would need proof of tickets before purchase as I don’t want to be scammed.
Instant transfer available for right person with proof.
Failing that can anyone recommend a second hand selling site? I’ve seen some on stubhub but don’t know if I should trust them or not 😭
Help!! I need to see this gig, Paramore/hayley Williams is my special interest and I’m so genuinely upset I don’t have tickets.
Hello, I recently got accepted to the University of Glasgow and I’ll be starting in mid-September.
I’m starting to look into accommodation and was thinking about private accommodation rather than student accommodation since I’m hoping it may be cheaper. I’ve never been to Glasgow or even the UK before, so I’m feeling a bit lost and would really appreciate some advice.
Which areas in Glasgow would you recommend that are safe but also relatively affordable for students? Also, is it better/safer to rent through real estate/letting agencies rather than finding places through Facebook Marketplace or other groups?
Are there any other things I should be aware of as an international student renting for the first time in Glasgow? Things like scams, contracts, transport, bills, areas to avoid, or anything else.
Any tips or advice would be really appreciated. Thank you!
One person in my group now unable to make the gig.
We had picked up tickets which include return transport from Dundee; which were the only standing tickets still available in presale.
Looking to get my money back (£182.75).
Willing to listen to serious offers; but the first person to offer me face value will get the ticket.
To be clear - this is for a Metallica pitch standing gig ticket on Thursday 25th June at Hampden Park - that includes return bus transport from Dundee (this was a Ticketmaster bundle).
Hello!
I'm unsure if this is something I can post here but I've seen other 'searching for' inquiry type posts here do I decided to try.
I'm a disabled person (without anyone i could ask to help me do it diy style) who's been living in a flooringless (for much of it) flat with walls that are undecorated and frankly quite a state. I'd like to find (obviously seperate businesses) businesses (decorator/ someone to put lino down) that i could hire to finally get that sorted out, but im totally incapable of moving furniture and one room in particular has two pieces of large furniture. Ive tried quite a few places relating to both getting floors and walls sorted but I cant find anywhere that also offers a service to move furniture during the process, I'm entirely unable to help with moving furniture out of the rooms and back afterwards due to my diasabilities, doing so would not just be extremely difficult (if i could at all) but also very dangerous. Very tired of living in a permanent diy site looking flat im embarrassed for people to see, but no matter how many companies ive tried, ive hit wall after wall, so here I am!
I was wondering if anyone at all had any recommendations for decorators/flooring installers in glasgow that offer that kind of service? It would be for the west end if thats important. Recommendations for either are welcome.
