Favorites Friday! 🐔🤍

Favorites Friday! 🐔🤍

I found this sweet little milk glass hen while yard sailing a few weeks ago, and I have loved her ever since. She may not be the rarest or most valuable hen out there, but something about her just feels so classic and comforting.

Vintage milk glass hens like this became popular in the mid-1900s, and some collectors even nicknamed these unmarked ones “mystery hens” because it can be hard to identify their exact maker. That little bit of mystery honestly makes them even more charming to me.

Would love to know everyone else’s “Favorites Friday”pieces too!

Happy Friday! Have a wonderful and safe weekend. ❤️

A true classic 🧡🐔 This amber hen is one of those pieces that just belongs in every collection. The warm glow, the beaded nest… it’s such a staple. I feel like this is one of those hens that almost everyone has (or has had at some point). Who else has this beauty in their collection? 👀

Kanawha Green Slag Satin UV Rooster

I love collecting Kanawha hens & roosters. The four point comb really sets it apart from other glass makers roosters.
