Best way to connect WhatsApp to GoHighLevel with an AI agent?
I run a small marketing agency and I want to start using WhatsApp as a channel inside GHL. The idea is that leads message us first on WhatsApp, an AI agent handles the first reply, and from there we can follow up over time.
I'm a bit lost on the best way to set this up and I'd love to hear from people who already have it working:
- What's the cleanest way to connect WhatsApp to GHL without risking the number getting banned?
- Is the GHL AI agent actually good enough to handle first contact on WhatsApp, or do you end up taking over manually?
- Once someone has written in, can you keep doing follow-ups later, or does that get complicated?
- Do you use a separate number for this, or your normal business number?
