might as well try, I know that the mumbai office is extremely selective and stuff but given that other stuff hasnt opened yet, thought I'd try for ops atleast.

Some background: IIT Kharagpur B.S Economics undergrad, cleared CFA Level 1, CFI FMVA, corporate experience at Frost & Sullivan. Willing to share my resume for further scrutiny as well.

Thanks in advance

Contract-to-hire at Goldman Sachs through Third party. Does GS actually convert people to full time?

Soon joining Goldman Sachs (GB&M) as an Analyst through Third party on a contract-to-hire role.

Has anyone here actually been converted to the GS payroll from third party? How common is it? and does performing really well make a big difference?

Next step after interview complete??

How long do i wait for the hr to get back to me
It’s saying interview complete so I’m not to sure if they’re just pulling my strings and making me wait

Should I take this as a sign and move on

It’s an Analyst role

Controllership Role.

I’m a recently qualified CA fresher, and I recently interviewed for a Controllership/Analyst role. Does anybody here have an idea what the fixed compensation offered for this role would typically be?

Thanks.

CQ & HCM call

Finished a lengthy interview process of 8 rounds for an associate position (non IB or SWE).

Last week I received two compensation questionnaire emails & a request for a call with HCM regarding my application, progress and for me to ask any questions following my “good feedback”.

They also mentioned ahead of the call I’ll receive the CQ which after completion there are next steps on their end. - sounds very ambiguous, anyone know what’s to expect in the call?

Thank you

BNP Paribas vs Genpact (Goldman Sachs Client) – Need advice before my joining on 6th July

Hi everyone,

I have 4.5 years of experience in Production Support (2 years at Accenture and 2.5 years at Societe Generale) and have received two offers in Bangalore. I’m confused about which one to choose and would really appreciate advice from people who have worked in either of these organizations.

Offer 1 – BNP Paribas

* Role: Production Support Engineer

* Designation: Associate

* CTC: ₹13.5 LPA (all fixed)

* Work from office: 10 days/month

* Cab facility for all shifts

* Parent health insurance included

Offer 2 – Genpact (Goldman Sachs Client)

* Role/Designation: Engineer – Application Support

* CTC: ₹16.5 LPA fixed+ ₹1.65 Variable Pay

* Work from office: 16 days/month

* No cab facility

* Employee health insurance only (no parent coverage)

I’d appreciate any insights on:

* Which offer would you choose and why?

* How do the work culture, learning opportunities, job stability, and career growth compare?

* If anyone has worked at BNP Paribas or on the Goldman Sachs account at Genpact, I’d love to hear about your experience.

My joining is on Monday, 6th July, so I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences that can help me make an informed decision. Thanks in advance!

Interview/shortlisting process

Hi guys, I have applied for two job roles with GS. Got a interview call for one of them. The status of the other one says its submitted only.

Can someone help me understand if whether the shortlisting process for the other role will happen parallel or will it be paused as a consequence of being shortlisted for one.

If its going to be paused, Id like to know if itll be reconsidered only upon closure of the other application (Either acceptance/rejection for the role)?

Kindly help!!

Has anyone successfully applied for Goldman Sachs India 2027 Engineering Summer Analyst?

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to apply for the Goldman Sachs India 2027 Summer Analyst (Engineering/Software Engineering) internship for students graduating in 2028.

The official India page says applications opened on July 1, but I can’t find any Engineering role or Apply button on the careers portal. Searching for “Engineering” returns 0 results, while only Operations and a few other Summer Analyst roles are visible.

Has anyone actually been able to apply for the Engineering role?

If yes, could you please share the following?

* the job ID or application link, * whether Engineering is selected during the application, * or whether the application hasn’t been released yet?

Thanks!

Verbal offer revoked

Went through 5 rounds, all positive. The recruiter reached out 3 days with a verbal offer after the final round for an associate role, gave forms to fill for compensation, shared payslips. Today almost 2.5 weeks later I was told that the role is put on hold. HR said she will reach out if the role reopens or will match with similar roles from other teams if available.

The role on the portal was changed to an application turndown today from Interview Complete

Is this a normal occurrence , feeling completely dejected.

Any recently hired Engineering VPs at Goldman Sachs? How long did your hiring process take after compensation discussions?

I'm curious if anyone here has recently joined Goldman Sachs as an Engineering VP (or another senior engineering role).

I completed all of my interviews successfully, and the recruiter reached out to discuss compensation expectations. We had what seemed like a positive salary discussion, and I shared my expectations.

Since then, it's been radio silence from the recruiter for over a week. I've followed up once but haven't received a response yet.

I'm wondering:

  • How long did it take between the compensation discussion and receiving a verbal or written offer?
  • Did you experience a period of no communication from recruiting?
  • Is this a normal part of Goldman Sachs' hiring process, especially for VP-level engineering roles?

I'd really appreciate hearing about your recent experience. Thanks!
