The quality feels just like the big putter brands. You get a beautifully milled face that helps putts go the same distance wherever you hit it on the face. People need to buy these more and ignore the big $500-$600 prices. Any thoughts?

Anyone recognize or know anything about these?

My dad bought them 20+ years ago and I inherited them 3 years ago when I started golfing. I’m a 14 HC now and I’ve become a club junkie and wish i knew more about the clubs i play. The shafts don’t have a labeled stiffness but they are either stiff or X-stiff. The 35 on the shaft makes me think they are 35g but I’ve never heard of a shaft that light playing that stiff. Anyone who knows anything is welcome to add.

Can't decide between Maltby irons

Hi everyone, I need some help figuring out which Maltby set of irons to choose. I'm stuck between the TS3, TS3.5 and the STI2s. Im a 25 year old man and ive been playing on and off my whole life but im starting to play more this year and last.

Ive been using a Ben Hogan Apex Edge set that was my father's but I think its time to get a set that is my own. I usually hit my 7 iron 170, give or take 5 yards, and I sit around a 17-20 handicap.

The STI2s are a thought because of the pricepoint but I'm really trying to figure out which ones are going to be the best option, and if I should worry about more distance or not.

Upgraded after 14 years

Cobra Amps to Ping G440s. Damn what a difference. My wife got me the Cobras as my wedding present. 14 years later both the clubs and marriage are intact but I've gotten more serious about the game lately and worked on my swing enough that I felt new clubs might be the next steps before more lessons. Got a full bag fitting last December and just now justifying the purchase with consistently breaking 100 for the last year. Took them straight to the sim and they're definitely going to take some getting used to but they are so much straighter and more accurate than the Amps. Forgot to take pics but the dispersion circles are insane. The AWT 3.0 shafts are probably the biggest thing I'll be getting used to through the bag. Here's to lower scores!

Ping G440 irons | green dot | +.5" shaft length | S flex AWT 3.0 | 5-UW retro spec lofts

Goodwill find

I’d been looking for a 60 degree wedge to fill a gap in my clubs and finally ran across one I felt like was decent for the price. How’d I do, I’m not super familiar but recognized the brand to be honest. For the price figured what the heck.

Beginner golfer

I am just getting into golf. My brothers are avid golfers… so when I sent a budget friendly set… it was “do not buy those. Absolutely not”. And that set was a Top Flight set. Idk any better, just thought the bag was cute LMFAO!
So any recommendations that won’t break my bank would be appreciated! Don’t even need a full set, or even a bag. Just the basic clubs I’ll need. I’m also a lefty.

PW / 9 Suggestions

I play 2024 p770s. SM9 50*/55/60
I want to sub in a blade PW and 9 into the set.
PW is 45* *and 9 is 41.
I want to limit filers and and inspire some more confidence when using these two inside of 150. Just really looking for suggestions on clubs that make sense to try. P7mb/cb? Something Titleist?

Full disclosure: I'm the founder of a peer-to-peer golf marketplace I built because I was sick of middlemen taking a cut every time golfers buy or sell used gear. Want this community's honest take before we launch.

Yeah, I'm biased I'm one of the people building it, so weigh everything below accordingly.

Backstory I tried selling an old driver through a local shop's consignment counter, and after their cut I walked away with less than half of what it was actually worth. Watched a buddy go the Facebook Marketplace route instead and deal with three no-shows and a guy trying to pay half in cash "when he got there." Every option seemed to have someone standing between the two golfers who actually wanted to make the deal.

That's basically what pushed my family and me to start building Trade2Golf: golfers selling directly to other golfers, no store or reseller sitting in the middle taking a cut.

Sellers keep more since there's no middleman markup. Buyers negotiate directly and pay through Stripe instead of Venmo ing a stranger. It's specifically for golf not mixed in with someone's old furniture and baby clothes.

We're pre-launch and I'd rather hear the hard questions now than after: what would actually make you trust a peer-to-peer platform for something like a $400 driver? What's burned you before with a middleman shops, consignment, generic resale apps? Not here to sell anything today genuinely want the unfiltered version before we go live.

T250 fitting vs. Takomo 101 — worth it at 26 handicap?

I currently play the original-generation Takomo 101 irons (not the Mk2), and I never had a fitting when I bought them. My handicap is currently around 26.
I’m considering getting fitted for Titleist T250 irons. I’m not looking to gain distance — I’d actually be happy to lose a few metres if it means getting less dispersion and more consistent distances.
The T350 is also an option, but honestly, it feels a bit too similar to what I already have with the Takomos, so I’m more interested in the T250.
For those who have experience with the T250, especially higher-handicap golfers:
Do you think getting properly fitted for the T250 would be worth it at a 26 handicap, or would you wait until the handicap comes down a bit further?
The fitting would include the shaft, lie angle, etc., rather than simply buying off the shelf.
I’d be interested to hear what you would do in my situation.

U505 2025 vs. 2023

I’m looking at Utility 3 Irons and I’ve narrowed it down to the U505 based off how I hit the 2025 model at Golf Galaxy. However, the 2023 model is $100 cheaper on Titleist Certified in Used - Excellent condition. Is the 2023 model $100 worse than the 2025 model?

The one golf club I have never gotten rid of....

It's ugly, but I could put it back in my bag at any time and would not miss a beat on the greens. Original RAM Zebra mallet.
