16+ Customer Reviews all at once - No Response from GMB Support in over a week

We regularly receive google reviews from our customers and over a week ago we noticed over 16 reviews randomly vanished all at once. They are all real customer reviews who have had great experiences with our business. Then we noticed new reviews are not sticking.

It's been over a week from our inquiry with GMB support (we created a ticket), and it's been stuck on pending after the initial response (over a week ago).

There is also an error showing on the support.google.com page indicating:

"Access to your business profile for [EMAIL] has been suspended because it doesn't follow the guidelines. Edit your business info, and learn how to regain access."

How can we fix this and get our reviews back?

Service Area Business or Fixed Address?

I’m looking for advice from the community on Google Business Profiles for an ice cream van/mobile food trailer business.

The business operates from a fixed pitch under a formal lease agreement, rather than constantly moving around, and customers attend that location to purchase food. Because of that, I’m unsure whether Google would consider this a legitimate storefront or fixed-location business, or whether it would still need to be set up as a Service Area Business (SAB).

Ideally, I’d like to show the address publicly on Google Maps with a pin, as a visible location would be very beneficial for customer trust and visibility. However, I obviously don’t want to risk suspension by setting it up incorrectly.

Has anyone dealt with something similar before, particularly with food trailers, ice cream vans, kiosks, market pitches, or leased pitches?

Would a leased fixed-pitch potentially qualify as a storefront location, or would Google still generally treat it as a service-area business because it’s technically a trailer/van?

Any thoughts or experience would be greatly appreciated.

3 video verifications denied and 2 suspensions on the same GBP

Hi everyone. Last month I created a GBP for one of my clients and their new location. They are a roofing business in Illinois, but their additional office is in Madison, WI.

I set up the GBP with all of the correct information like service areas around Madison, phone number, website, address, etc. Google then said we can verify by video verification. My client submitted 3 separate video verifications showing the outside of the business, signage, access to the office (by key), everything that was listed as requirements. Each time the videos were declined because they did not correctly show that my client has secure access to the office.

Following this, I submitted a Google Support ticket providing all necessary business documentation/images: business license with the business name and Madison address, utility bill, pictures of the truck they use for work, outside of the building, and all of that stuff. After all of that, Google then suspended the profile. Mind you, it was not visible at all during this.

This is the following timeline of events:
- I submitted an appeal for the suspension
- Contacted Google Support to follow up and request more information
- Suspension was lifted and got a message saying that the GBP needed to be verified
- No options were available for verification, so I contacted support like the message said
- Did not recieve a response from Google, and suddenly the GBP is suspended again

I have tried to contact support various times and provided all documentation to prove this business is licensed and registered. Anytime I do recieve a response from Google, it is the same generic response.

Can anyone help me out with what to do next? This has been going on for a month now and I feel like I just keep getting sent in circles. Any insights would be appreciated.

Ayuda en Google maps

Amigos, necesito ayuda.

Saludos y gracias.

Profile was reinstated by Google but still shows suspended.

Hello,

I completed all the requested steps for the suspension review, and afterward I received an email from Google confirming that my Business Profile had been reinstated.

However, it has now been over a week, and the profile still appears as suspended in my account. I continue to see the following message:

“Your access has been suspended because this profile doesn’t follow the guidelines. Edit your business info, and learn how to regain access.”

I’m confused because Google confirmed the profile was reinstated, but the suspension status has still not changed on my end.

Additionally, when I try to submit an appeal through the Google Business Profile appeal tool, it simply says that the account is “not approved,” so I am unable to proceed further through the normal appeal process.

I have already passed the required background checks, and I have legitimate business documentation available to prove this is a real operating business for my Google Guarantee.

Has anyone experienced something similar before or known what could be causing this? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

2 google business profile ?

Hello, I have a web agency with a Google Business profile, and we've launched a new AI tool with its own website. Would it be relevant to create a separate Business profile for it? Are there any best practices to follow in this kind of case? Thanks in advance,

Anyone else figure out how to get verify Google Business Profile via video verification without receiving a link?

My situation is quite unique. During the video verification process, I’m unable to receive a link from someone to verify my business.

I recently changed my agent brokerages and address, which has left me with an un-verified Google business profile.

Here are the steps I’ve taken to resolve this issue:

- I posted in the Google business profile community.
- I reached out to Google directly and submitted all the necessary documentation, including my license and the location where I work.
- I’ve been emailing them repeatedly, trying to get my video verification to work correctly.

I’m not having any luck. It’s been a few months now.

Any advices appreciate it.

Can I edit my profile before recording a re verification video

Can I edit my profile before recording a re verification video???

I just triggered re verification on google and I'm going to record the video...before recording should I change the name because in the profile I have added to many keywords but in real signboard doesn't have that all

The second thing is I want to add more services can I add the services now before recording the re verification video because after verifying If I add new services It will trigger a re verification again I think

The third and most importantly I have visiting card of the buisness, bills, assets with the branding of my buisness, what do I need more ? Or is it enough--docs according to India

Any help would be highly appreciated ❤️❤️

Anyone else notice businesses with recent reviews get way more trust?

Something I have noticed lately is that customers seem to care more about how active a Google Business Profile looks than the actual website sometimes. A business can have a decent site and good service, but if the reviews are old or there’s barely any activity, people seem hesitant.

Curious if others working with local businesses are seeing the same thing in 2026.

Struggling to get my Google Business Profile verified as a freelance fitness trainer

Hey everyone,

I'm a freelance fitness trainer based in Bangalore. I don't have a fixed gym or studio — I provide training services at my clients' society gyms. Recently, I added a Google Maps pin for my business, but Google is asking me to verify it, which is proving to be a real challenge since I don't have a permanent physical address.

I tried reaching out to Google Support via email but didn't get any helpful response.

A few questions for anyone who's been in a similar situation:

  1. Is there a way to get verified without a fixed address? I've heard about the "Service Area Business" option — has anyone had success with that?
  2. Are there any workarounds or alternative verification methods that have worked for you?
  3. Any tips on how to set up the profile correctly for a mobile/freelance service so Google doesn't flag it?

Would really appreciate any guidance from fellow freelancers or small business owners who've navigated this. Thanks in advance!

My Google business profile has been suspended and I can’t use the appeals tool.

I have a tree service business in Oregon that I started last July. I’m licensed bonded and insured and have a current CCB license. Recently I noticed that my business isn’t showing up on Google searches, which is a major issue because I generate a lot of business on local Google searches and have worked hard at getting almost all of my customers to leave reviews. When going through the appeals process I get to the page where it says to elect an eligible decision to appeal and there’s no option for me to select anything or continue so I simply can’t appeal anything and my business remains hidden on Google and all of my customer 5 star reviews are gone. Anyone have any ideas?

Review Bombing the wrong business

Happy Monday -_-

Is there anyone on here that has a contact or that works for Google that can help me? Within the last week there was an event that garnered National news attention. I heard about it, and was disgusted myself. Turns out, the person inolved owns a business in the same town as our location and our small business that has been around for decades has been caught in the crosshairs with some people mistaking our business with theirs. It is not. We have zero affiliation, knowledge, or have done any business with the parties involved.

Unfortunately, we've been getting tons of 1 star reviews the last few days because of it. It's getting out of hand and is obviously detrimental to our business. A quick search would tell people who the correct business to air their frusturations at is, but alas.

Fake reviews-need help

Hello everyone. I am managing my family’s business gbp for 2 years now. We have 90 geniune reviews without prompting the customers and being extra annoying.Long story short today I saw a new competitor with 60 reviews for just a MONTH.

I clicked on bunch of them and saw that most of them left only 1 review so far from their profiles. I am now sure that they are fake accounts. My question is: what would you do and can I report the whole profile for spammy tactics instead each review individually?

Google didn’t just update review guidelines. It changed how reviews are evaluated.

Most businesses still think reviews are counted.

They’re not.

They’re filtered.

They’re evaluated.

They’re either trusted… or ignored.

That’s a completely different system.

It’s no longer about: getting more reviews.

It’s about: whether your reviews can actually be trusted.

And that shift is going to catch a lot of businesses off guard.

I broke down what changed — and what it means going forward.

PLEASE HELP! PRODUCTS STUCK IN PENDING

My profile is new, created on March 13, 2026.  My  previous one which I had for 15 years was deleted. When I contacted  support  they didn't know how it happened :(

Where am I  with my GBP:
- Verified
- The business name and digital footprint are consistent  — same address, phone number, and online information across all platforms.
- Primary category is lingerie, secondary is swimwear

- Address is  visible

What I have done so far:
- I found the following realated thread about GBP and Merchant Center https://support.google.com/business/thread/425707118/products-stuck-in-%E2%80%9Cpending%E2%80%9D?hl=en
- Deleted the store and the connection between GBP and the merchant center. At first it was automated - every product uploaded to GBP was linked to the merchant center and they were all stuck in pending for 2 months.
- Past week I deleted all products from GBP
- Re-Uploaded just 3 products: one featuring a model and the other 2 showing just the lingerie pieces.
- I have submitted many support but they say they "don't know" what is going on and just send me an email with the documentation

Has anyone experienced a similar issue?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Hidden address for service area business question

I need to pass a video verification for adding a hidden address as a service area business.

Should this address be the one where the business is registered?

What if I use my own home address/one of other offices that isn't listed in the business registration info?

Or is it best to change the business address in documents, to make sure I won't get suspended in case google asks for additional documents to verify this address

Help required : Address still shows on profile after switching to service area.

Hello.

We recently closed our physical store and are in the process of finding new premises to re-open. We still run our online part of the business.

I toggled the "Show business address to customer" to hide the address in the profile manager, but our address is still showing to customers causing the uniformed to show up to not find us there.

My first guess to at least bush fix the issue is to mark the business as temporarily closed, but I feel this might cause old and new customers to think we are completely closed although we still operate our online side of the same business.

I tried contacting support about the address still showing, but get a generated reply with links to the help guides that do not help me much in this case.

We worked really hard over the years and have a great reviewed profile and would hate to throw it all away.

Has anyone dealt with a similar situation like this before or have any advise? Thank you in advanced.

Why is Google so impossible to work with? Has anyone had any luck getting a human?

I do various side gigs pertaining to digital marketing and have had constant issues any time I help a client with Google.

One client has a small but successful service based business in Chicago that has been in operation for 10+ years. Google refuses to verify his business flagging it for fraud or deceptive content. He has no trucks with his business name, no office space, but has his registration, license, proof of past jobs, etc. We've appealed multiple times with this information and it keeps getting denied for deceptive content. I'm baffled Google just gives us a dead end here with no way to proceed.

A recent client has a small but successful service based business in the Wisconsin area. He used to have a Google Business Profile and recently hired me to make a website for him. He called me panicking after I made the website saying his GBP was gone. I told him I never noticed him having a GBP when he reached out to me, and that after I finished the site I was going to ask him if he needed help making one. He thought my website was the cause of it getting removed. Turns out some other google account was managing his business and either the account expired or removed the listing. I reached out to someone from Google Ads about restoring the GBP but haven't heard anything, so I figured while waiting we'll make our own GBP from the beginning again and figure out restoring reviews later if possible. Anyways, I went to his lot, recorded a video, he has no office but has a permanent sign, tons of equipment, trucks with his business name, we did video of showing the truck locked and unlocking/getting in with a key.

Google STILL denied this saying "the business doesn't exist".

Both of these clients will reach out to me saying they have other companies reaching out offering to help get them verified and on Google and they they "specialize" in doing so, but I keep assuring them they don't have a magic button and there's nothing they can do any different than what I've been doing, yet I'm not having any luck so they're ready to start throwing money at these other guys.

Has anyone had any luck getting ahold of anyone from Google? I just feel like I keep hitting dead ends and am left on my own.

It's just so incredibly frustrating and baffling that a company as large as Google is so absolutely impossible to get ahold of, especially while having essentially a monopoly on visibility for businesses.
