New carved gourd!

11” tall. Bottom isn’t flat, so it looks a little wonky on the spinner. There’s over 1000 holes in it.

What species is this?

Basically I moved into a new house and it already had a compost so I used it for the garden beds I set up, from the compost a pumpkin-like Vine grew and it has this cool gourd that I haven't seen before. I want to know what it is or at least when it is safe to pick because I would like to take the seeds and plant it again next year!

Swan gourd drying

Advice? Did i just mess this up?

I just snipped this gourd off the vine! Its about 4.8lb, and im curious about how well its going to dry. My goal is to dry it and keep it for a birdhouse or a decoration. My plant was putting all its energy into this 1 gourd, and all the other baby gourds were not growing. They were shriveling and falling off before they ever grew to any decent size. Do you think this gives my plant a chance to make more gourds?

I know we are supposed to wait for gourds to mature and dry on the vine before harvesting in order to dry properly. Is this big gourd destined to rot? Will it dry alright if im careful?

What is happening to my gourds?

Hi, I've grown gourds a few times... This is my first garden after moving so I've been dealing with new issues. Just wondering what is going on with these gourds and if it's nutrient, pest, or disease related? The leaves and plants look alright otherwise, besides starting to wilt from the heat wave! Not all of the gourds look like this, but enough to be worrisome. Thanks all!

Help! I can't get my gourd plant to bloom female flowers

So, this year I tried for the first time to grow my own bottle gourds. I got some seeds on amazon in january labeled as Lagenaria siceraria. Some of the seeds i planted grew, but since i have limited outter space, I only kept one on a 50L pot. The plant itself has grown well, the only problem I have is that i keep getting male flowers. It already has had about 12. Still, some of the flowers appear to be more female like. They have a small protuberance on the base, but once open, they still have male reproductive organs that produce pollen. Is my plant having any trouble developing female flowers? For further context, I live in Barcelona, mediterranean climate and the plant receives plenty of direct sunlight from the morning to early afternoon. The first two photos are the "feminazed" male flowers and the latter two the typical male flowers. Any help is welcome!
