i recently joined GA , i got a guojia deck and had the idea of playing 2 fatestones at once,

my idea was to use quicksilver grail to banish the genbu/suzaku/byakko fatestone , level up to guo jia lvl 1 playing the seiryuu fatestone , then finally use avatar of genbu... to pull the fatestone from banishment.

my local store guy who's a judge told me it wouldnt work due to banishment being facedown so the avatar effect can't find it.

wanted to check if theres no hope to do what i wanted to do

Hey, very new to GA, but relatively experienced in most card games, looking for a little bit of a rules clarification re: Double Sided cards

According to the rules I was able to read, I'm meant to use the actual double-sided cards in my deck, and not stand-ins or proxies- Would it be acceptable for me to print proxy versions of the alternate sides of these cards, just to prevent myself from having to de-sleeve the cards and rotate them?

For example, I have a copy of [Beseeched Fatestone] in my deck. When I transform it, would it be appropriate to place a printed copy of the [Daunting Panda] side of the card on top to represent that I've transformed it? Rules say I can use a copy of the card, but I would just like to clarify if I could use a printer paper copy or a proxy instead

I’m a fairly new player and I’m confused by cards that say things like “You have spellshroud”. I know cards can target my champion or my regalia or my allies, but I didn’t know that cards could target me. Could I get a little insight on this please?

I'm looking to try this game out soon, and I wanted to know which Starter Decks are best to look out for. I've seen that some of the decks are much more complicated/esoteric than others, and was hoping to know which ones that I'm likely to see at a local card shop are ones to get, and which to potentially avoid. Hello. New Player here. I'm interested in trying out Grand Archive. Been learning how to play using online videos and sims, but I prefer using real cards. I've been looking for a somewhat local community to learn and play with, but every LGS I tried doesn't run GA. I live close to the GTA (Greater Toronto Area), up in Aurora. I was wondering if anyone knows any GA communities or LGS running GA events nearby. Thanks.

I’m completely new to grand archive. YouTube suggested that I watched ascent Las Vegas over the weekend and I was hooked for the whole tournament. I started looking at cards and decks but I have a question.

I’m familiar with other tcgs but I’m not entirely sure how “Vertus, Gaia's Roar” works. I looked up and understand the pride mechanic, but I can’t find anywhere that states if his enter effect happens if you don’t meet the pride requirement.

Can someone explain how he works?

asking cause its just not available in my area at all, and wondering if i can expect to see shops get more product or no

I just got into Grand Archive and had bought the Merlin and Mordred Re:Collection decks from a buddy's recommendation. Is there any way for me to upgrade these decks to be competitive/comp-viable? (mainly looking at Merlin)

I have a background in MTG and YuGiOh, and usually play midrange or burn decks in MTG, but do occasionally play combo, so if there are any other decks you would recommend, do let me know!

As a "newer" player, I don't have a proper sense of when Weebs announces sets in advance. I jumped in during Distorted Reflections, so Phantom Monarchs was already announced. Radiant Origins was revealed as PM was launching, so shouldn't we have heard something about the next set by now? Or, at least if restocks of Radiant Origins are coming (can't find them anywhere).

So, when can we expect to hear details on the upcoming sets?
