I want to be fair and understand this but since our local media sucks so bad, it’s very hard to tell what’s legit or reasonable about these people’s opposition to this project. Anyone have some perspectives?
The GR Vegan Chef Challenge is coming back to town on September 1! 🌱
Throughout September, participating businesses around the city will be adding new vegan dishes to their menus. Diners can try the dishes and share their feedback, with awards and prizes going to the top-rated chefs at the end of the challenge.

Great location, rooftop grills/lounge area, ground-floor retail, in-unit W/D, covered parking for $100, small balcony, stainless steel new appliances, granite countertops, water/sewer/trash included. I don’t have any pets. Looking to start lease in mid October. Likely a 12 month lease. Not 100% sure about the move in dates (the two apartments currently listed say Oct 18 and 26th). One is ADA so not sure how that works.

Went to Zeigler Chrysler in Grandville and 3 of the 4 handicapped spots were taken by dealership vehicles, not by people with disabilities. The fourth spot was blocked by one of the cars parking over the line. I spoke to salesperson about it, who said ‘where else are we supposed to put them?’ and then walked away.
Obviously, they don’t care with that smug answer. I would look elsewhere for a vehicle because they are idiots.
UPDATE EDIT: talked to the sales manager and he tried to spin it into a sale. ‘That was the actions of one person who doesn’t represent the views of this company. What were you looking for, are you going to come back and look at it?’

We are looking to get our roof replaced this fall. We are on a fixed income, so cost is important. If you have recently had your roof replaced, who did you use and why? Did you get multiple quotes? Who from? Would you recommend or use this company again? House is in the Rockford area if that makes a difference.

I want to have my head shaved with a straight razor so I can get henna done on my noggin for my national birth holiday. Anyone have any recommendations of someone who will straight razor my head? I've been shaving my head probably 50% of my life now. Recently had a mohawk for like two months, it was awesome! Thank you for any recommendations of hair stylist or barbers who are great.
" The Michigan State Police Hart Post is investigating the disappearance of three individuals believed to have been tubing on the Muskegon River.
The missing individuals are Jazmin Hock, 28, of Muskegon; Sarah Vida, 28, of Muskegon; and Kayden Kovalcik, 9. They are believed to have been using orange and a pink tubes.
The individuals have been missing for more than 24 hours. The investigation began after the father of one of the missing women discovered her vehicle at the Maple Island Boat Launch with a window broken out. Family members have not been able to contact any of the missing individuals.
Troopers, with assistance from local emergency responders, are actively searching the area.
Anyone who may have seen the individuals, observed the tubes, or has information that could assist investigators is asked to contact the Michigan State Police Hart Post at 231-873-2171 or the Newaygo County Sheriff's Office at 231-689-7303.
Additional information will be released as it becomes available. "
