Yay for pivot activities! Was so worried there would be no silent disco, but also movie nights, Q/A panels, and workshops?! Sick:’) thank you boys
Camping opens Friday at 2pm, but if I couldn’t get there until 3 or 4 would I have like a bad spot? What’s the downside of not being early?
Hey there!! First time going to the Gorge this weekend for Griztronics!! I’m so incredibly excited!! My group is unfortunately not camping and having to drive ourselves in from our hotel each day. Is the Star parking or paid parking better/easier to exit after or should we just rock the free GA parking? Thanks so much!
Now don’t get me wrong I am absolutely HYPED for the weekend and all the performers were gonna all see.
I am kinda feeling like it’s a bit poorly put together so far tho? It’s basically same pricing as any other 2-3 day festival but is starting to seem like it doesn’t have all of those benefits. Examples being lack of shuttle transportation, no wristbands (resulting in re entry not being allowed, then allowed, and now not allowed again), only 1 stage, etc….
Idk is it just me?
Hello all! Does anyone have shuttle info? I’m parking in GW secure parking, but I have no idea when the shuttle is coming by
I unfortunately have to sell my griztronics ticket :( I have one ga ticket I’m willing to negotiate prices if anyone is interested! (300-400)I’m trying to get it gone before the festival obviously so if anyone is interested please let me know! I had some personal issues come up to where Im not able to afford the entire trip to make it up to Seattle. I’m super sad to miss the first grixtronics but hopefully someone will be able to enjoy it instead! I have my ticket on ticket master so I would just get your email and stuff then transfer it to you:) let me know!!!!!
We are staying in Lake Moses, bought shuttle to the venue. Thinking flying into Spokane is closer than Seattle? Any advice on shuttles/transportation from the airport? Wanna avoid renting a car if I can.
Hiiii I’m 27 and from Portland, this is going to be my first festival and I’m still somewhat new to the scene! I will be camping with a few friends but as we prepare for this trip I’m starting to realize I’m probably going to be alone for most of it… I’m super nervous bc I’ve never done anything like this, hoping to make friends to meet up with and help me feel just a little safer being in a new environment and away from home 💜
Some things about me that we may or may not have in common: gay af, stoner, AuDHD, usually into more hardcore music, loooveee nature/hiking, I also love photography so I will happily take your photos for you 🫶 mostly looking to hang with the girls but if we vibe I’m soooo happy to meet anybody and everybody! (Ty for reading all of this I hope you have soooo much fun at Griz!)
Hey fam! I decided to last minute send it this weekend and it’ll be my first time going solo and camping at the Gorge! I have a premier car pass and won’t be able to get there until Saturday morning.
Any tips/tricks?
Can’t wait to get funky with ya’ll! Show love, spread love 🫶
We have a group of five people and two camping passes. Four of us are arriving in one car on Friday. Will they allow us to go ahead and get our two camping spots next to each other even though we will only have one car at that time?
We’re early arrivals on Friday and in premier camping. Anyone know how to braid? Just looking for two Dutch braids, natural long hair, I’ll pay. Let me know! Signed- a girl who can do all other styles but the one I want 😂🫶🏼
How is it a week away and they still haven’t said anything :’) I’m camping and getting there Saturday around noon, thoughts? Will we make it in on time to set up and catch all sets?
Hopefully they just meant to say no large blankets because sitting on grass all weekend unless you pay extra for a chair inside would be wild.
Hey yall! I made some sweet pants, out of 100% cotton fabric. They’re super loose like genie pants. I am worried I’ll get hot in the crowd…. And that the gorge will be humid/muggy since it’s Washington? Or that the cotton will get heavy holding into water … I would be wearing with a bikini top so not too much clothing …. But ? A FULL pant! lol. Any tips appreciated if you’ve been, or if you also make ur own rave clothes!! Thank you 🫶
Do you guys think since Griztronics sold so well and so fast they will make this an annual Gorge event??
Will there be anything going on during the day before the show? Or am I on my own to entertain myself till it begins?
Heading to Griztronics at the Gorge next week and bringing my DDJ-GRV6 + camping setup with me.
I’m still learning to DJ, but I’ve been deep into bass music and raving since around 2021 (and going to festivals/shows for 5-6 years now). Recently started getting into production too.
Would genuinely love to meet other headbangers who wanna spin, teach, vibe, or just nerd out over bass music at camp. Doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or absolutely cracked on the decks — everyone’s welcome. I’ll share camp details later once we’re there.
Also let me know what speaker/sub setup you’d want me to rent for camp 👀🔊
One thing I’ve realized is that even after years in the scene, I still mostly go solo to festivals and bass shows. Hoping to finally build some real rave homies through music.
Girls & guys both welcome to come throw down a set or hang. I’ve got a LOT to learn from everyone 🖤
I just picked up a new hydration pack and currently finalizing packing plans.
Usually I pack liquid iv/granola bars/protein bars/fruit gummies and enough hothands to survive an ice age (the Gorge wind can be no joke lol), but I want to level up my pack game this year.
What are your non-obvious essentials?
Are we talking:
* Vicks sticks or pashminas?
* Little trinkets/sprouts to hand out?
* Emergency napkins?
* Anything else?
Drop your best advice below so we can all be prepared 🙌
P.S. Here is permitted items list from the Gorge website (I never had any issues coming in with a hydration pack):
“» ONLY small clutches, wristlets, or fanny packs no bigger than 6”x 9” OR clear plastic bags NO BIGGER than 12″x12″x6” will be allowed inside
» Lawn Chairs – no higher than 9 inches off the ground
» Cameras – nonprofessional only, no detachable lenses
» Food – in a clear, 1-gallon Ziploc bag
» Water – an empty water bottle OR up to 1 gallon of water in a factory sealed bottle is permitted”
