What a kick in the dick this business is.

Let me be clear, it's pretty much the last business I might buy. I own everything beside Bail, Fwvility, and Helitours, and I'll likely never grab any of those. But I wanted to get D&F to keep the nightclub pumping if I knew it was going to sit while I tended to other things, so why not right?

I bought the cheapest shop, near Mackenzie, and planned to let it sit dormant like all my other MCs when they're not supplied by the Stash House. But of course u gotta set it up, and fill the supply bar at least once, and what they hey... Might as well sell it right?

Fully supply bar (which would be 75k, had I paid) yielded me 50k worth of product. I figured, I'm already here, lemme just run the sell mission.

What'd I get?

People actually dove into this business? WTF was R* thinking with this math?? The owner runs 15-30 minute sale missions for what is practically 0 profit?

I probably should've pointed out that the business only has 1 upgrade, the 100k one, figured I'd at least get something out of the supply stock whenever a Stash House fills it up. But na.... Ain't no f'n way. Ain't no MF way I'm ever selling this product at that rate.

This had to be a joke from R*. Who I've noticed is pretty foul to their uninformed players. I can't imagine how many people invested in shit like this and grinded hours and days of their lives, just to buy more upgrades to get something out of their investment... Poor fools, man. Shame on you Rockstar.

As we all know Tomorrow's event week is 2x$ on The Auto Shop robberies. This is one of the best bonuses in the game and it was unbeatable when it was 3x$ a long time ago and I wish they brought that back. 800k for 15 mins or less of work and over a million in less than 30 mins was busted and that's probably why they aren't bringing it back.

Anyway this will probably be the last good event week before the update that is likely to come on the 16th of June. We have 2 more event weeks after it's done and personally I don't trust Rockstar enough to be generous and give us 1-2 more good event weeks before the dlc.

This will likely be a part 2 to the mansion DLC and we saw how much we needed for part 1 even if we weren't buying everything. It's better to be safe than sorry especially with vehicle selling being cucked.

This past week or so, I’ve been struggling to find a way to enjoy this game anymore, as I’m extremely burnt out on grinding and free mode PVP, and these past few weekly updates, in my opinion, have been a solid “meh” at best. So I decided to take a trip down nostalgia lane and I’ve been trying to go back to what used to make the game so entertaining back in the OG days, the custom jobs and games modes such as Rockets vs Insurgents, Parkour, and Vehicle Deathmatches, but have had a really hard time finding any of these let alone any people that are interested in playing them. With that being said, I created a few, mainly vehicle death matches, but the only problem is, no one plays jobs anymore, I kid you not, I started an auto-invite and waited almost half an hour for no one to join, and the problem is, these jobs would benefit with having a decent amount of players, yet getting a single person to join them is next to impossible. I understand the culture and the player base of the game has changed substantially over the years, but now more than ever I realize just truly how much the businesses and meta have almost made the game boring/stale. Is there a subreddit or a place I can share my custom jobs and find ones that people are active in or are the custom game mode days of GTAO over?

Hey, i just came Back to gta, havent played it in about 2years, so im trying to gather some people to play together, mostly heists, business, etc , basically grinding money

Genuinely curious as to the different reasons people still join public lobbies. Personally I stopped a few years ago due to griefers, and I’ve heard you earn more money through businesses in a full lobby as opposed to a private one, but I’d rather take guaranteed less money than a risky high payout because someone blows me up.

But I see a lot of people still play in public lobbies so I’m curious as to why? What keeps you there despite griefers and people who try and own or run entire lobbies?
