Been having more fun with the game after I started taking things slow and stopped playing to earn money

I know this likely isn't a new or amazing concept but I wanted to talk about it anyway. I haven't played the game in a while. I re-downloaded it recently with the intent to play the story mode but wanted to have a look at the new things in Online and it's done its thing and kind of dragged me back in.

I used to play the game way too efficiently. I'd get in, immediately spawn in my Oppressor Mk 2 (I still hate this thing), and fly over everything and methodically collect all my money from my businesses then just grind for money. I optimized the fun out of it and it was even more of a drag when I had to deal with people who spend all their time blowing up people's deliveries and missions.

But I got back in a few days ago and I've just stopped caring about earning money in any kind of efficient way (I used to grind Cayo Perico and the thought of doing that heist even one more time depresses me). I've been focusing on replacing my modern super cars with classic cars (I've really been loving the Coquette Classic, Dominator GTT and Benefactor Glendale) and putting together fun outfits. I've been trying to go for an 80's style and just cruising around in my classic cars and 80's style outfits, not going as fast as I can everywhere I go has been really fun. If anyone has any suggestions for other classic cars I'd love to hear them too.

I did get a reminder of why I still don't enjoy open lobbies, because I tried on two separate occasions to do a car wash job and the first time someone waited outside the car wash with a sticky bomb to blow up the car I was meant to deliver, and the second time someone blew me up with a railgun from a skyscraper. I still don't understand why people play the game like this.

I guess I'm just trying to say that the game is a lot more fun when you slow down and stop caring about efficiency. Just do what is fun in the moment instead of grinding if you want a change of pace :)

The worst Sparrow Spawn ever!

I’ve had bad plane spawns- where it get’s stuck or explode but this is the worse by far cause it doesn’t look stick and m on a Fuuuukin’ Beach sand for god sake⁉️i thought how in the 9 hells something gets stuck on a beach sand….. How

On a lighter note it was funny while it exploded🤣

Is anyone else not ready?

I'm not ready to give up GTA V (Online). I'm 25m born in 2001. I grew up playing GTA 4 alone and with friends and I miss that game too. I remember playing it so much while waiting for GTA V to come out. I was 12 when it came out on September 17th, 2013. I'll never forget that date. My stepdad came home with my pre-order after school and I played it for the first time ever, that date at 3:01pm. I love this game so much. I'm from the east coast and have never been to LA but the city is dear to my heart because of this game. I'm not ready to leave this game and leave the online servers. GTA V is so perfect in my opinion.

Lost all my weed cause truck got stuck.

Not only does this crappy sale mission give me a forced wanted level.
Not only does it alter my steering and randomy do inputs....

But getting the sales vehicle stuck deytroys ALL of my product?
the truck isn't even destroyed. It just got stuck and the mission fail trigger did all the damage there...

I sure as hell hope that the "QOL" update promised on the 13th removes this sale mission.

My GTA Daily drivers

Got pretty tired of the oppressor everyone has one so now I use my daily drivers ( plenty of cars and garages ) I’m just very fond of the few. Be brutally honest about the style and creation. I just like what I like
