Hi all, I just acquired my first pair of guidis for under $500 on Mercari Japan from a seller that seems really legit, and has sold other fashion items from their collection. They said they bought “overseas” for 200k yen retail. They’re a bit used and don’t have a the vibram sole.

They look and feel amazing, but I just have a bit of paranoia about fakes. For comparison, the leather feels more soft compared to my Ann D boots, and appears to be higher quality. The stitching looks good too. It’s a size bigger than my normal size, and it’s not super tight on my ankle like how I thought but I might just have very skinny ankles. They’re snug on my calves though. 14.75 inch total height. They also have a noticeable fishy(?) smell? I can’t actually describe but it’s not the most pleasant. It also came with no box and a dust bag. Everything seems right but I’ve never held the actual shoes in real life. Additionally, I just cleaned and conditioned the leather before posting.

So I bought these in Japan secondhand. Seems like an old model pre 2014 or so since it doesn’t have made in Italy on the insole. Not sure if these are 795, but i don't remember black 795s having white contrast stitching so I'm not sure. Are these legit? Any help appreciated, thanks!
