Used Guidi 992’s at 510 USD - is this price good?

Hey all, I am traveling and found a used pair in good condition of brown 992’s for 440 euros/ 510 USD at a fashion archive. How do we feel about this price tag?

I’ve always wanted a pair, and admire the craftsmanship and history of the brand greatly. But, as you can imagine, this is a big purchase.

Does anyone have any input on this price point? Thanks

Question: is it possible to find someone to add a metal wrap to the heel of a Guidi pair that doesn’t have one?

I’ve been looking for a pair of guidis that have a metal heel, but they’re either way too expensive, don’t have my shoe size, or sold out. I was wondering if I could take a pair of non metal heel guidis to professional and have them install a wrap on it. If you all have any advice on it I’d grateful appreciate it.

Sizing / Fit

I just got a new pair of guidi 986 and went 42 which is tts for me and they feel a little tight and my feet seem to be bulging can anyone tell me if they look fine? ( also they came with vibram soles is it recommended to get them done before wearing? ) thanks :)))
