[Monthly Megathread] Habitica Party Recruitment

If you run a Habitica party, reply to this post with your party information. Important things to note include but are not limited to:

  • The dominant language of your party chat.
  • The time zone or zones in which most of your party is active.
  • Primary goals of the party: are you focused on pet quests? Supporting each other's endeavors in a particular area, like study or housework?
  • What is your party's policy on boosts and script usage?
  • If there is a particular class and/or level range from which you're looking to recruit.

It's also helpful if you explain a little bit about the way your party interacts. Are there a lot of jokes? Is there a focus on moral support or advice? Do you just talk about whatever, or are you generally not a social bunch and you're just in it for the activity? Any or all of these are fine! Different people want different things from a party, so the more you can explain in as clear a fashion as possible, the better chances people have a finding a good fit with your party!

  • If you are interested in joining a specific party listed on the megathread, reply to them on this megathread.
  • If you are looking for a party, and would like people to reach out to you, just reply to this megathread that you're looking to join a party and provide some additional information(class, activity, interests, etc) if needed

Out of Sync Daily - Habitica & Strategitica

I've created a Daily that repeats five times per week (excluding Tue and Fri). However, the calendar view in Strategitica is always shifted showing Wed and Sat as excluded. I've tried to modify start date and it shifts the logic around with no obvious logic.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Any fix for this? Tnx!

Just shipped a major update to Taskadia. Would love some honest feedback

Hey all. I’ve been building an app called Taskadia for a while now, and it’s the same kind of thing a lot of you are into: you finish real life tasks to level up a character, earn gold, and build your own little world. I just pushed a big update and I’d really like some honest feedback from people who actually live in apps like this.

Quick rundown of what’s new:

The main one is an app blocker. You pick the apps that eat your time and block them, and there are a few ways to go about it. You can schedule them (blocked during set hours or days), or block them until your tasks for the day are done. If you cave and want to open one early, it costs gold, the same gold you earned finishing tasks.

There’s also time logging with weekly goals now. You log the hours you actually put into something and set a target, like practice guitar 10 hours a week, then watch the bar fill over the week. Honestly this has been the most useful part for me.

The world got some love too. The map is smoother and way bigger. There are new items and characters to unlock and place around your realm as well.

Two bigger ones: it’s on Android now (was iOS only before), and there’s a full web version with a board you can rearrange. You drag the modules around, drop them where you want, and it saves your layout, so you can set up your dashboard however makes sense to you.

And the usual pile of bug fixes and performance improvements.

That’s basically it. I’m mostly after honest feedback, what works, what’s clunky, what you’d want added (multiplayer?).

Confused as to what a negative habit would be

I’m brand new to the app and I did look in the FAQ but I’m still confused. What exactly is a negative habit? Would quitting smoking be an example of a negative habit? Or would it be a positive habit because quitting would be the habit? And if I make a negative habit and I check off that I did it every day is that a good thing or a bad thing for my character?
