Why are you still growing your hair after hair victory?

I have cleared classic length which was my goal & honestly now I feel like I should cut my hair but losing 3 years of effort gives me anxiety.

People who have cleared their goal length what you have done after it, keep growing or got new haircut?

Does anyone have tips to help me grow my hair out?

Hello! I've been on a hairgrowth journey for about 3 years, but I can't seem to get it to grow past my shoulders. Any curly haired people had the same experience? And regardless of your hair type, do you have any tips??

First image is my hair currently and second is around the length I want it to be (I'm happy with any improvements though).

This half a year transition is insane

Bad bleach job took half of my hair few months ago. Before that I already had thin hair because of bad diet and not taking care of myself. The first picture finally made me realize how bad it looked, so I decided that I wanted a change. 2nd picture is now and my hair is clearly thicker and healthier. Haircare has now become my passion. I’m still at the start of my journey but the change is insane!

Here’s what I did:

-regular oiling (i use mint&rosemary which is best for my hair)
-Regular scalp messages
-THE BIG CHOP, the reason my hair is still short is that I cut like most of the dead hair off around new years. So don’t forget how sometimes cutting is necessary.
-Not washing hair so much. Seriously, I used to wash my hair daily without realizing how much it wore it out. Now I wash about 4-3 times a week and always condition after.
-protective hairstyles at night. The reason my hair is wavy in the 2nd pic is because of this. Wearing a braid at night protects the hair and for me personally gives it volume!
-Suppliments. (Make sure to get some blood test done to see what you need) Iron, selenium, vitamin B and C helped me the most.
-Eating enough protein!! The best help for your roots is eating good.

Let me know if you have any more questions :)

i shaved my head during a mental breakdown

i had long curly hair and i shaved it off to a length between a buzz cut and a pixie cut during a mental breakdown. i regret it so much i hate how i look and i can’t wait for it to grow back.

i shaved it off almost 4 months ago and i’m barely noticing any difference. it also grows upwards and makes me look like a boy.

my hair wasn’t damaged. i don’t use heat or dye it. i was struggling with my mental health but since i’m a little better now i’m seriously regretting my decision.

how can i make my hair grow faster?
please help me!! :(

Hair health journey from bleach damage Oct-today

Stoked with the amount of density I’ve obtained, shine, and length retention the last few months. Growing out thick healthy hair from bleach damage is no joke! But I’m so happy with the progress 😭

Why do people say trimming your hair helps it grow faster if hair grows from the root?

Currently growing my hair out and wondering if this is a myth or what the science behind it is.

Products to help with hair growth .. after having 3 kids.

My hair has gotten worse over the years. I’m 28 and would love recommendations for products or shampoos that could help with thickness and growth . I really want to keep my long hair, but I’m thinking I may need to cut it to my shoulders. I haven’t had it that short in about 5 years. Does anyone else with long hair struggle to maintain it?

Has anyone reversed hair loss naturally — what made the biggest difference?

Six years ago, I would have dismissed this question entirely. But after diving deep into naturopathic health for my own hair loss and experiencing real results, I've come to believe that the vast majority of hair loss is systemic — and that the body can heal itself once you stop getting in its way.

That said, "systemic" covers a lot of ground: diet, lymphatic health, stress, sleep, glandular support, gut healing. Most people who see recovery seem to get there through some combination of all of these, not just one.

So I'm curious — if you've actually experienced regrowth, what moved the needle most? Was there one key change that seemed to unlock everything else, or was it more about consistently doing a lot of small things over a long period of time?

I'm asking out of genuine personal interest. Happy to share what worked for me if anyone's curious.

So I had really bad hairloss in 2020, recovered fully over the following year on a nature-based solution.

I can share details on what I did. if anyone needs help, I can help.

How can I grow thickness back after hair matted - depression?

Hi, so I'm really embarrassed about this but I've been in depression for years (severe) and it's been getting better recently ( in years) but sadly I've had a really big relapse in January and my hair got MATTED, well it happened for it to really become entangled before and it was taking me hours but not this much, it got entangled for months and for reference my hair is curly (3a-3c so ifyk yk...) and it's my thigh length LOL, so I've been passing the last fews months detangling it and holy shit sorry for swearing but I don't even know how I managed to keep such a motivation, it was so bad but managed to do it !! and well today was the final day I've been able to brush them and they're finally back to "normal" again...the problem ? I lost like ¾ of my thickness and I'm not kidding sadly 💔 I thought it was tripping and was expecting much but I lost SO MUCH more than what I thought, my hair is so "thin" now and I know it's because of the detangling + how the knots were pulling on my hair for months, but I want to know if I can grow back my thickness, how and how much time it would take...I have a lot of oils rn and using them especially castor oil, but I need to know if people got similars experiences, how to do it etc bcs I'm gonna start crashing out, my hair means a lot to me and it makes me literally so sad Im in denial, Im almost praying for a miracle and I know I'll need to be patient still but I need help, so please if you got any advice, anything I'm taking it happily, even if u don't know an encouraging word would mean the world to me❤️‍🩹 thank you so much

How do you keep growing hair while bleaching?

I have fine, fragile hair and I’m curious if anyone here managed to grow theirs long while still bleaching it (not icy white/platinum, more like a creamy beige blonde)

I struggle growing mine because of split ends and breakage I feel like it never gets past a certain length. I’m already doing pretty much everything I can think of: using Olaplex, oiling, taking supplements, using rosemary oil, heat protectant, (no heat tools only hair dryer)and generally taking really good care of my hair overall.

For anyone with similar hair who actually managed to grow it longer while staying blonde, what made the biggest difference?

L’Oreal Elvive Growth Serum Booster

If you’ve used elvive growth serum how frequent do you use it and how long did you start seeing results?

Is it normal that my scalp feels itchy after using it?

scalp massager hair growth does it actually help or just feel good?

I keep seeing claims that sclap massagers can help with hair growth. I started using one mostly because I get buildup and itchiness sometimes, and it does feel good in the shower.

But I am not sure if I am just convincing my self it is doing something. Has anyone actually used one long term and noticed real changes like less shedding, baby hairs, or thicket hair? Or is just a scalp hygien tool?

pls help my aussie girls !!!

okay so, i have been getting my hair bleached for about a year now going back to my natural colour after going dark, my hairdresser and i decided that because my hair has taken such a hit we needed to trim it. so i cut my hair to shoulder length and it’s been a few months now and its just stuck at one length. i use heat protectant everytime i dry my hair and straighten it so i know its not that. i need some product recommendations that will help boost my hair to grow (shampoos, conditioners, hair masks, treatments BASICALLY ANYTHING JUST PLEASE HELP😭😭😭) i used to have such long beautiful hair and i miss it so much 🥲🥲🥲 pls help a girl out 🫶🏼

ps. i do NOT want anyone to recommend me K18, i tried it and i HATED it. it dried out my hair so much to the point where i couldn’t even brush through it anymore (also hence why my hairdresser and i decided to cut it off) and if you’re thinking about purchasing K18, don’t waste your time or money lol

many thanks in advance xx
