I purchased a sleeve of negatives labeled "Cars" in a thrift/junk store in Portland, OR for .25 cents. The lot ended up being comprised of two distinct rolls of b&w Kodak Plus x Pan Film. One roll was shot at Half Moon Bay Drag Strip, the other at Fremont Drag Strip around 1965~
Through my little bits of googling it appears some of these cars/racers could be well known, or favorable to somebody. I was especially intrigued by my discovery of Shirley Shahan through these photographs, and I believe she can be seen in the background of the photo of the men talking.
In total there's about 50 photographs (including one odd one out of a baby in a bouncer in a nursery that was in the middle of a negative strip). I'm not sure if there's somebody, or some organization or something that would appreciate seeing/having these images. If anybody has any insight it would be greatly appreciated!
This dude is the coolest guy. He is apx 80 lbs. 2.5-3 years old. He's chill, cool, and loves his companions. He's a livestock guardian and has done just that but also likes to be inside with his people. He has lived with goats, cows, pigs, chickens, peacocks, ducks, cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. He's a social guy. He will take your blinds off rubber necking the things going on outside. He's very nosy and we just love that about him.
