Some light reading finds at a homeless encampment

Cleaning up an old encampment and found some interesting books…The last book sent me 😂

Site with the books had fishing line all around its perimeter… guy was NOT ok…

There was also a VERY swollen iPhone I set aside and promptly forgot about….gonna find that tomorrow. We don’t need no fires right?

The video is from the one I just I started out of 5 or 6 sites. I’ll post before and after pics when the entire area is cleaned up in a few weekends

I don’t believe this was a recent camp. I think it cleared out in 2021 judging from the expiry dates on the canned food

Most of the canned foods was unopenedu, and in a big pile with 2x full containers of protein powder and a few bags of chips

Maybe the city forcibly evicted everyone in that big wave ahead of 2021 tourist season

IIRC there was a huge methodical dismantling of encampments all over the city - when that kid got caught by pepper spray crossfire during the protesting

Is it still possible to find an authentic connection nowadays?

On these rainy days, what I crave most, you know, is having someone to cuddle with and spend time together emotionally without any pressure to show off or pretend to be someone else instead of being yourself. You know, I saw lots of people in relationships all the time trying to impress each other by pretending and being scared of being themselves and sharing their full, honest selves. How you can meet someone in this fake society nowadays. Dating sites don't work unless you are extremely rich, tall, and extreme. 1% of the attractive-looking guy. fake profiles/scamming OnlyFans profiles. catfishing. Even in person, people are so scared of strangers that some people even don't say hi, thinking the other person is a creep. Anyways, I was feeling extremely lonely, so I wanted to vent a bit. Have a nice rainy evening, all.
