Halo Ranked Match Making Question

Matches are usually 3.5 minutes que time in all ranked ques. I am gold 2-3 in Ranked Arena, and Ranked Slayer. Usually can not find a match after 2am CT. Is this because of my rank or is the game simply dead?

Quick Look: Moving platforms on our version of another canceled 343 map

This is Summit, an asymmetrical bridgeworks-style map suitable for FFA and up to 4v4. Summit has a few small changes from the original layout, but should be mostly the same in spirit to the one from the video.

Similar in style to maps like Lockout/Blackout and Guardian, Summit adds moving platforms with power weapons and powerups to the mix to give a bit of a twist on a familiar style map. As these platforms move around, new pathways open and become available, so explore to figure out what shortcuts and skill jumps you can find.

Plenty of sandbox available, including thruster, repulsor, and some grapples, which you can really take advantage of by going under and around the main buildings.

Summit supports most core modes:
Slayer
CTF (multi flag, 1 flag and neutral)
Oddball
King of the Hill
Strongholds
Headhunter

As well as any mode that doesn't require a map specific setup like VIP or Regicide.

Delta Arena returns as a Featured Playlist

The maps are Foundry, Turf (as Boulevard), Ivory Tower, Cold Storage, Construct, Ascension, Narrows, Sanctuary (as Serenity), The Pit, Guardian, Ghost Town, Snowbound, Lockout (as Canopy), Isolation, and Beaver Canyon. Note that Warlock and Midship are listed as featured maps in the in-game news section, but I don’t see them in the playlist’s map list.

The modes are Slayer, King of the Hill, CTF, and Oddball. Each mode also has a separate BR start variant. (I assume the default is MA5K start but I haven’t gotten to play a match yet.)

The new PvE mode, Gauntlet, is now in the regular Firefight playlist.

The gauntlet menus.

Soo I'm on Xbox and I wanted to try the new mode and I can't use the radial menus for the weapons and upgrades, whenever I go up to them there's no interact button or anything and I've even searched through my settings to try and find something but I can't, is there a fix for it or am I just stuck like this?

Is Halo Infinite playable in multiplayer?

Honestly, I don't know the Halo universe. I was looking for a multiplayer FPS game and I found this one. Do you think someone who doesn't know the Halo universe can play this game, and what's the current state of the multiplayer?

Game freezing

Ever since the last update the game has been freezing randomly during matches. I've been getting a lot of deaths because of random game freezes. Anyone experiencing this?

Halo Infinite's new "The Gauntlet" PvE mode is hilarious, frustrating fun

You probably wouldn't believe me if i told you that I've spent over 100 hours already on Halo Infinite's new PvE gauntlet mode..but I confess. I did. And I'm still playing it. If you put down Halo Infinite, I think this is worth picking it back up. It is incredibly difficult..but im having alot of fun, and not just "fun game" like. No, its STUPID fun. The kind of fun that can be difficult to get right, but somehow, this game mode hits it almost perfectly for me...almost haha. There are some issues.

But I want to focus on the fun:

Its a simple gamemode. A sort of wave-based game, except with a twist: Defeat the bosses while endless waves of enemies spawn in. The longer you take to defeat the bosses, the more you get the harbinger. The harbinger usually carries the skull, and if you get the skull, you can take it back to base with you, and apply the skull to get an additional upgrade point ( or..sometimes points, which is weird? Its not clear to me yet).
,
The tradeoff, though, is that the enemies get buffed. If you're in solo queue and you want to use the skull, your best bet is just to use famine. Its the least punishing of the three. Famine makes ammo on weapons drop less. And its not that bad if you don't miss your shots constantly and focus on bosses. Overall, this game mode reminds me of the old Serious Sam games, with a mix of hell divers and Halo's own firefight mode.

I personally find The Gauntlet funny af. The enemy AI dialogue is so good. The grunts seriously make me crack up. One time, our team got killed by Bassus, and I heard a grunt say, " This is MY ring!! You hear me!? MY RING" and I just cracked up because it didn't do jack sh*t.

Every match, once you kill the final boss, all the enemies in the map literally all die at the same time, destroying my ears, but it is extremely hilarious. I can't really describe why this game mode is so silly to me, but the NPC dialogue really helps make it very goofy. I was completely dominating the arena, getting kilimanjaro's back to back, and the harbinger had had enough. She teleported behind me, said "STOP" and one hit me, smacking my body out of orbit. I was crying it was too funny. I wish I had clipped that

I think its worth trying it though, and it came out of nowhere. I just wanted to go make a post about how fun this gamemode is, I'm hooked rn

Unable to match??

Anyone else experience this? It won’t let any of us search or join each other when this happens.

Harbinger gauntlet Skull help

I guess I'm not understanding, can someone explain what I do with the harbinger skull to activate the possible bandana skull and such and not just skulls on the podium that make it harder

Why halo isn’t mainstream like call of duty anymore…

Do you think visuals/art preferences is a big reason for why halo lost its throne and why it’s no longer as popular as call of duty?? I definitely think so. Halo lost that gritty and mature look imo. Nothing from 343 resembles that except for halo 4 and 5 but even still I much prefer bungies designs and art.

What do yall think I’m curious. 🧐
