I've owned the 417 ES since 2024 and got the HD12 two weeks ago – I'm absolutely thrilled with it so far! I wouldn't be surprised if i end up with a third Hanhart in the near future. I simply love this brand and the people behind it are incredibly friendly, always helpful and you can just tell they are run by true watch enthusiasts.
I guess I have an odd shaped wrist because even with the micro adjust I could never get the right fit on the factory bracelet. Just curious if anyone has been desperate enough to attempt a half link from a similar bracelet from another manufacturer?
I honestly think 36–37mm would be a very sweet spot for this model.
On top of that, I’d absolutely love to see a "Desert" version. I actually made an AI mock-up based on the color palette of the 417 Desert Pilot, just to see what it might look like.
Now I honestly don’t know which one I’d choose… the blue or the desert haha

Received my Red Lion Mk 2 today, really love the watch. My only issue is the minute hand does not strike the indices on the chronograph sub dial. It lags behind and is tolerable for the 1-9 minute marks. But 10-20 is more substantial.
I'm assuming this would be out of spec. I've emailed Watchbuys with photos and hopefully they'll respond tomorrow.
Anyone else deal with this on a Hanhart chronograph? Was Watchbuys particularly helpful?
I am hoping to purchase a reverse panda and am curious if anyone who has an idea of how often they restock.
So I finally got my Preventor back a couple of months ago, and I guess sometimes good things do come to those who wait! Ownership on this one has unfortunately been a bit of a saga; received as a gift in September and it was outstanding for about 2 months until one day it hung up and stopped. I reset and kept going, but after 2 more instances it was time for a warranty call. That process was… slow. From getting authorization for the warranty work to sending it off and waiting what felt like a crazy amount of times for parts to arrive, it was right around 6 months. Ultimately I think it was a factory QC issue, there was some kind of debris inside the movement that must have been catching on some gears.
But now I’m back baby, and the performance on the newly installed Soprod P024 has been outstanding. Every measurement over the last 7ish weeks has been within COSC, and overall during that time the average change is currently siting at +0.1spd. The movement so far seems to cycle between running a little fast for a few weeks, then a little slow for a few weeks, and now it’s running a little fast again—but the fact that I haven’t reset it in nearly 2 months is pretty awesome. So happy to have this one back on the wrist!
This watch gets so much right. Makes it very tough to want a collection, when one watch does so much.
