From what I remember, it starts with an adult Harry dying at a train station, or somewhere similar, along with his family and Hermione's family.

After he dies, Harry ends up in some kind of limbo, where he discovers that his entire life was basically a lie because of Dumbledore, Molly, Ron, and others. Harry and Hermione's wedding rings had some kind of enchantment on them that kept them under the illusion that they were in love with their respective spouses.

Harry also discovers that Dumbledore had always known about the abuse he suffered while living with the Dursleys. There were times when they beat Harry so badly that he was almost killed. Dumbledore would find him, heal his injuries, and then erase his memories so Harry wouldn't realize that he was suddenly no longer hurt.

He also learns that Molly, with Dumbledore's help, somehow arranged for Ron and Harry to become friends.

After discovering all of this, Harry gets a chance to go back in time. This time, he stays with the Black family and is raised by someone from the family, although I can't remember exactly who. He also meets Tonks.

Harry eventually discovers that Dumbledore has been using Harry's seat/proxy vote in the Wizengamot, so he fights to have the family who is raising him take control of his Wizengamot vote instead.

When Harry finally goes to Hogwarts, he chooses Hufflepuff, and Hermione does too. He then discovers that Hermione also came back in time and remembers their previous life.

The two of them study together, and without Ron around, Harry takes his education much more seriously instead of wasting his time.

Does anyone recognize this fic? I've been trying to find it on AO3.

For those who don’t know, it’s an A03 fanfic that looks to be almost completed. Canon similar in a lot of ways but differs in others and it’s a really immersive world. Would you recommend, yea or nay and why?

Looking for a fake where necromancer in practice, Harry finds out that Ron is not actually alive. And then finds out , Ginny is also a necromancer in practicing who is controlling ron. It is a tomarry but also it is a Ginny x mentor necromancer. I don't remember the mentors name. Harry tried healing Ron, but he came back to life and tried eating him. And towards the end , harry and tom are practically immortal and he keeps reviving Ginny every time she dies.

I am specifically looking for a Hp fanfiction mainly after Order of the Phoenix where he realizes that he let all of his friends get hurt badly and indirectly in a way kinda caused Sirius’s death and takes into account that there is a literal prophecy hanging over his head…so gets his shit together and starts training to stand a better chance against the Death Eaters and Voldemort. (If there’s none after Order of the Phoenix then I’ll just take any in general)

However what I really want to avoid is cliche fics where Harry acts completely OOC, acting edgy, bashing of his friends, goes around gathering a harem, becomes lord of multiple names, has Wesley’s tryna rob him or love dose him, and lastly instantly surpassing Voldemort and Dumbledore to the point where he can beat them with only his left hand (I’d really prefer if he was only just roughly below or close to their level but no where near surpassed because you’d need at least a lot more time and experience to catch up with these two folks) also no slash it’s just not my cup of tea no offense to anyone .

Hello! I am looking for a good fic to read. I need one where Harry lived with the Dursleys for a certain amount of time. And the Remus Lupin gets over himself and takes over being Harry’s guardian.
It can be when Harry is young. It can be after 3rd year. It can be before 5th year. I just need a fix where Remus Lupin is his guardian and does a great job.

So, a few years ago I read a Harry Potter x reader ff on wattpad. The reader was Cedric Diggory's younger sister. At the end of every chapter Harry's parents and other characters as they died had a small moment where they talked about what they were seeing from heaven. I also remeber the readers mom, an OC, Rebecca I this her name was, divorced Cedric's dad and got with Sirius Black. Reader also had a pigmy puff that was a he and I think also a cactus that they "shared custody" with Harry

This are the few details I can remeber from the story but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

It was on wattpad and I don't know if it was deleted or something and I never got to know who it ended.

I just reread The Disappearances of Draco Malfoy, which is a Deathly Hallows rewrite that fits the books very well both in tone and plot. The premise is what could have happened if Draco had time to accept Dumbledore’s offer of help at the Astronomy tower at the end of THP.

If you’re never gonna read a Dramione story, you should still consider reading the chapter The Secret-Keeper’s Tale (you don’t need much context), which covers the story arc from Ron leaving the others, until they are rejoined. This has got to be one of the most beautifully written Ron-moments in Harry Potter fan fiction; much better than Ron’s arc in Deathly Hallows.

What do you guys think would happen?

I am writing a fanfic and while I have most of the details down I still need a tiny bit of assistance with some minor things. The first thing I need is some minor character names, for example I kind of wanted to name the trolley lady Janice, and the fat lady either Patricia or Jillian. I mainly just need some basic names that aren’t too bland but also aren’t too flashy either. Any suggestions are welcome. At some point I’ll probably add pets to some of the OCs and I will need names for those too. I also would love if a fanatic or someone could private message me and help me bounce ideas off of. I will drop the story here once I complete it but I severely lack discipline and can’t stick to a publishing schedule so I will only post the name once the book is finished. I was using copilot to share my inspiration and ideas but in the end it did agree with everything I said and wasn’t able to give any opposing input, which is why I now need a actual human being. I will continue writing for now but I really quickly do need somebody to help, or at least listen to my rants.

Just realised that I’ve never read a fic where it’s a Harry Potter reader waking up in the HP world fic. Or it could be a HP fan waking up as a HP character fic as well?

I was wondering if that’s a thing or if there’s a tag for it? I’m interested in reading ones that you like if you have recommendations!

My preference would be a slash fic if possible? Though it’s not a requirement.
