Where are the scheduled recordings saved?

I'm planning on upgrading my homerun and was wondering where the scheduled recordings are saved. Don't want to go through and set up all the shows I have scheduled to record. If on the homerun box can they be copied over to the new box?

Free HDHomeRun guide data in Jellyfin: plugin release v0.2.0.0

I released **HDHomeRun Guide for Jellyfin v0.2.0.0**, a Jellyfin server plugin that gives HDHomeRun users free guide data directly inside Jellyfin.

This exists because Jellyfin’s Live TV guide setup usually sends people down one of two paths:

- Pay for Schedules Direct

- Bring your own XMLTV source and wire it up yourself

SiliconDust also has an XMLTV API, but their documented 14-day XMLTV feed requires a paid HDHomeRun DVR guide subscription. I wanted something simpler for Jellyfin users with HDHomeRun tuners: install a plugin, let Jellyfin find the tuner, generate the guide data, and keep it refreshed automatically.

The plugin:

- Uses your HDHomeRun tuner to access free SiliconDust guide data

- Generates Jellyfin-compatible XMLTV and M3U files

- Updates Jellyfin Live TV’s M3U/XMLTV paths

- Clears stale Jellyfin XMLTV cache entries before import

- Refreshes guide data automatically on a configurable interval

- Supports Jellyfin-side HDHomeRun discovery

- Supports the paid DVR XMLTV source too, if you have it

- Does not store `DeviceAuth` in plugin config or logs

Release v0.2.0.0 is mostly a hardening release. It promotes the current plugin line from 0.1.x to 0.2.0.0 and includes safer tuner fetching, sanitized M3U output, pinned JSON dependency handling, and a verified release build.

Release: [HDHomeRun Guide 0.2.0.0](https://github.com/stephenhoos/hdhomerun-jellyfin-guide/releases/tag/v0.2.0.0)

Install is manual for now: download `HDHomeRunGuide_0.2.0.0.zip`, extract it into Jellyfin’s plugin directory, restart Jellyfin, then configure it from **Dashboard -> Plugins -> HDHomeRun Guide**.

This is the first public release, but I’ve tested it heavily on my own Jellyfin + HDHomeRun setup and it’s been working solidly. I’d love feedback from other installs, especially Docker, Linux packages, different HDHomeRun models, and different channel lineups.

hdhr prime not finding channels (fios says we're activated and paired on their end)

tech said everything looks good, but all i'm getting in logs is "unable to play channel/no video data" on all channels using both shield and android phone

initiated a channel scan after they repaired and verified ids but it is finding 0 channels

fios said that cable cards have not been phased out in my area yet

any thoughts/ideas on what to do ?

running latest 20260313 firmware. things were ok prior to firmware update, any way to roll back? I was initially concerned they killed the service in my area, but the tech confirmed we're still up and activated so ... firmware???

Do ALL HD Homerun devices fail?

----EDIT----

Silicon Dust Posted below with some great information that sheds light on the issue I am having with the Extend. It likely is just a bad power adapter that died after years of use. They have offered to repair my Connect 4k at no cost. I didn't know repair was even an option. Im seeing why people have good things to say about Silicon dusts customer service. I'm wishing that I had called them, though rather than doing email support.

-----

Have HD Homerun devices been reliable for you? I'm 2 for 2 with them failing under optimal conditions. What are some good alternatives?

I have owned two HD Home Run devices. HD Home Run Extend, and Connect 4k. They both failed. Connected to different antennas in different houses, both on double online conversion UPSs, providing consistent, clean power isolated from the grid, along with my server. Both in cool clean, dry environments.

I bought the Connect 4K on Kickstarter. When I received it, I was super busy with work and family, and I installed it after the 2-year warranty was up. It failed in less than a month, can't tune into any channels.

I'm seeing that ALL CONNECT 4K AND FLEX 4K UNITS HAVE A DESIGN FLAW AND WILL FAIL NOT IF BUT WHEN.

In this situation, when the product is known to be faulty, why doesn't Silicon Dust extend the warranty?

Come aplificare segnale tv

Grazie a chi mi risponderà

ATSC 3.0 Starions no longer locked in Houston

You may have seen my previous post about Fox 26 in Houston removing DRM from their 3.0 broadcast. That left only KHOU and Telemundo (who are owned by the same ppl IIRC) and I noticed today I was able to get the Arsenal vs West Ham game on the 3.0 channel on Telemundo.. so I went to Rabbit Ears and it also is showing the same… no more DRM in Houston.

subscription renewal annoyance

I got my yearly notice that my subscription was going to be charged soon, so I decided to log in and check that my card data was valid. The card SD had on file was with an expiration in January of this year, so I went into manage the card details.

SD card management doesn't let you update the expiration date. So I figured I would have to delete the card and re-add it with the correct expiration.

SD card management doesn't let you delete a card that's linked to a subscription.

If I only had the one card, I would have had to cancel the subscription in order to edit the card.

Used a different card and deleted the first, but what an annoyance.

Does anyone know the virtual channels for Philly ATSC 3.0? CBS, NBC, FOX, ABC?

I know in NYC they are in the 100's based off the ATSC 1.0 virtual channel. Like CBS, 2.1 ATSC 1.0 and then it being 102.1 and so on. Does Philly follow this same pattern?
