RIP the Spotify “Personal Use Archive” backlog
Never posted about this here while it was up in fears of something like this happening, but now curious to see how many of you were using it now that it’s gone.
It was a complete unedited backlog of the show archives uploaded to Spotify with a nondescript gray album art and backwards words as the official title and the name HDTGM personal use archive.
I noticed random episodes disappearing earlier and now they’re all completely gone. Very disappointing, was a great way to fill in the gaps between releases jumping back to old ones like From Justin to Kelly

Must-listen episodes from the last year?
I've not listened regularly for about a year and the prospect of catching up seems daunting so I won't.
But were there any instant classic episodes that I shouldn't miss?
Jim Carrey In the Cancelled Incredible Mr. Limpet - Test Footage (1999)
A 10 million $ animation failure
They've gotta do Heartbreakers (2001). Ray Liotta, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Gene Hackman, and Sigourney Weaver are in this movie with them being con-women scamming the men.
Horrible no good very bad sets. Incredible plot twists. HORRIBLE acting from the leading main men being total zeroes.
Well minus Gene Hackman. He's incredible but I can't even remember the Lead Actor's name. There's a penis forward statue that plays a big role in this movie at CRAZY times.
The comedy HITS when it's supposed to hit.
It has been a wild ride and Gene Hackman has a parrot. This is after a RANDOM cameo from Carrie Fisher.
The writing is impeccable.
My local thrift store was a HDTGM treasure trove today
While only Zardoz came home with me, I also found a novelization of Kazaam, All About Steve, Torque, and a 6 film Jason Statham (famous Angelino) collection.
Honestly, how has Drowning Mona not been covered? A weird attempt at a crude whodunnit with a stacked cast and has plot points like a sex game involving Wheel of Fortune, multiple unreliable narrators, and was the main film setting was chosen because of its history with the the horrible car the Yugo
A male turtle performing "claw fluttering" near the female's face as a courtship ritual to attract her
HELP: Trying to find this episode! Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II w/ Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron
Please help me find this, this is my favorite movie and I am dying to watch this. I’m new to this pod so idk why it’s impossible to find. All of the different services links show me the pod but only new episodes from 2022 and on.. I’m willing to subscribe to a service if it has this episode, lol.

Volcano (1997)
A movie where a volcanic eruption threatens the west coast and racism is solved at the end. Isn’t that nice?
Donald Gibb (Bloodsport, Revenge of the Nerds) Dead at 71
tmz.comPlease…Perfect Summer Episode
This has all the makings of a classic HDTGM episode…allllllllll of them
Possible movie suggestion?
Hi, I don’t know if this is the right way of going about this but I have a possible film suggestion for the guys to do- Altered (2025) with Draco Malfoy/Tom Felton in a dystopian movie about genetically enhanced humans which looks to have been filmed mainly in Kazakhstan. I can’t tell if it’s horribly beautiful or just horrible. Been a fan of the pod for 10+ years. Cheers
