I’m tired of people acting like Hearts2Hearts members don’t have distinct voices
(english isn’t my first language)
like this is getting tired. i was listening to pretty please and im sorry but if you can’t tell their voices apart its a you problem 😭 even for their more recent releases, like in iconic heart apart from the chorus where their voices are clearly mixed together, you CAN’T tell me you cannot tell apart Stella’s and Yuha’s? Carmen also has a very distinct sound and way of singing overall (i heard it’s her pronunciation but idk since i don’t speak korean nor japanese lol). Ian and Juun also have very distinct voices imo. i can get where the « confusion » comes from in like the chase and focus for example, where they all sang in a particular way that made them sound almost identical to each other sometimes, but as for any song (bsides included) since focus mini album i think if you can’t tell them apart you might just not listen to their songs enough. which is okay, but the critic is kinda invalid imo. people tend to get confused between a style of singing and someone’s ACTUAL voice, yes h2h often make styles choices in terms of singing (that varies by each song) but to say they don’t have distinct voices is kinda a lie idk
if anything i think Ana’s voice was at first the least « distinct » to me (not in a bad way at all, i just think she had a lot of lines shared with other members and less alone at first) i used to confuse her and Jiwoo, but once you know its two different persons it’s very easy to recognize the details. also i don’t really understand the problem with having an « ALL » chorus? like where everybody since in unison, i mean. idk why people act like it’s new in kpop but like it’s really not? idk. +, i think many of their chorus are falsely put as « ALL » chorus in lyrics videos, they also often all seem to sing during stages, but by listening carefully you can tell there is almost ALWAYS a lead singer during their choruses, for example in 15-LOVE with Stella and Yeon then yuha in the last chorus, in Pretty Please with Yuha, Apple Pie with Yeon, Blue Moon with i think Carmen and Stella.
But yeah like, to each their opinion, but it’s tiring to see people dismiss the girls vocals like they don’t have any great vocalist when the vocal line is made of FOUR members out of 8 and they all are extremely stable already considering they’re still rookies. and the rest of the members also have great vocals. anyways just me yapping, sorry I created this account just so I could share my thoughts lol
