So my wife and I are both keen listeners of the pod and we find ourselves quoting drops. Most frequent ones in rotation right now:

• No doubt. No doubt. No doubt about it.
• I am a great guy. I am actually a great guy.

What are your favorite ones? This has got to be an actual drop. I also keep using "GC. GC." but this is not a drop AFAIK.

(This does have the downside that you get weird looks when in a group that has no idea what you are quoting, but hey, their loss.)

Casual USMNT fan. Looking for a good listen for the rest of the WC. Obviously most interested in US recaps or previews, but I'll be watching other matches as well now that we're in the knockout round.

Hey guys! Longtime ATL/HTC fan based in the UK looking for a fantasy football league to join. I played in a mixed US/UK sleeper league last year and really enjoyed it, but not sure if my league will be running again this year so looking for a replacement/addition!

As Conor successfully completed the time honoured Irish tradition of hate watching the English, I as an (actual) Irishman, do restore upon the Conman, his Irish heritage and validate his calm to be an Irish (American) person.

And great idea to make it accessible, replacing the FFS this week.

A timely reminder they're all people trying their best to put out something we enjoy and they make a living from.

I get the confusion between Sweden and Switzerland is because of the similar two letters at the start of the name like Brazil or Britain, China or Chile. But surely the closest US approximation is being confused for being American when a person is actually Canadian? Every time I have done this at the Munich Beer fest, or in a hostel in days of yore, the Canadian gets offended. Almost as close to confusing a Kiwi with an Australian.

While I am here, the chopping and changing over British and English is jarring. "British" commentators talking about the "England" game misses the mark. There are 3m Welsh, a portion of the 2m Northern Irish, and 5m Scottish people who very much would have loved a Congo win yesterday. It's akin to say people of the East coast will be rooting for New England.
