I’m curious if anyone has actually tried smoking industrial hemp with very low THC, for example under 0.2% THC and around 5% CBD.

What was your experience like? Did you notice any effects at all, and how would you describe the taste, smell, and overall smoking experience?

I’m especially interested in hearing from people who have tried properly grown and dried hemp flower, rather than just hemp products like CBD oil.

I have read quite a bit about it. And maybe I'm confused.

I understand that people won't be able to buy the hemp produced THC edibles (that was obviously a loophole)... But how will this affect my ordering of CBD flower from the states away? Just 1 g of CBD flower still contains more THC then the 0.4 allowed per container. . So is that it for smokable flower!

I have been experiencing a huge spike in anxiety with THC / High THCa strains for about a couple of years. Before that, it was always a good time. I was so confused about the sudden shift with anxiety & panic upon smoking specific flowers. I was at a point where I grew up getting high, to then transitioning to basically type 2, to then purely CBD, to then minimal "feel good" effects from trying any type. It really bothered me because I literally grew up with cannabis and it has always had such a positive impact on me to then turning on me but in the span of a little bit over a decade. I started to grow really depressed and hopeless with anything natural that could really help aid me into a healthy progress. And I'm not really suggesting this for anyone, but I did take a break (about 4 months) of zero cannabis usage before trying anything cbd / thca / cannabis of the like ever again, and it ended up being a nightly ritual of mine like i remembered before during the beginning stages / golden ages of smoking and vaping all over again. I suffer from really bad anxiety and panic attacks not related to cannabis throughout my years and always wondered why it just suddenly turned on me with constant self doubt and questioning along the way. I didn't want to believe that taking a long break would benefit me because I've grown so accustomed to ingesting almost daily. But that break, even though it may seem short, made a HUGE difference in me. When i went back to indulging, I was offered right away a blunt of just pure THCa / weed, and even though I was hesitant and had confidence i could keep going in my sobriety, i said F it why not? And it ended up being a fantastic experience. So fantastic to the point where I bougtht some HCF bud a couple of days later and had a near-awesome experience just without the high. I am forever grateful for cannabis. It just is such burden on life now that there's a hemp ban approaching. But i definitely will not forget my past experiences and new found love for it- even if they were a bit scary. It's all just a learning experience and what works for you!

I have made tincture with MCT oil. I have also just thrown some into brownies lol. I was thinking about trying to make some RSO this time as the tincture doesn’t seem to aid in much pain relief or help me sleep. I think I used ~14g in my tincture. I have lots more this time.
I have never attempted to “wash” the ABV for better taste. I don’t think it has a bad taste. Kinda nutty flavor.

I’m totally new to hemp flower. I’m very sensitive to thc and really don’t enjoy the head high at all, but it’s really great for my appetite. I want to have mental clarity but feel very relaxed. The strains that I’m looking at are Lemon Lurker, Ice Capades, and Galactic Icee.

Dang. I was going to buy 4 ounces of CBG smalls from horn creek but that window is closed. Tweedle has some but it's pretty low in CBG %

Rogue is also out of smalls.

I love almost everything from Lakeland but their CBG is completely lacking in terpenes, even for a CBG.

Any suggestions?

After my Fyre OG comparison I've been really enjoying forbidden V during the day and kush strains in the evening.

What's everyone's favorite Kush strain? I love the floaty relaxing effects and distinct kushy flavors of kush strains.

I’m sorry if this has been asked a lot, I tried searching but nothing recent came up.

I used to smoke everyday for years and it was the only way that I could eat. Eventually I was prescribed a stimulating antidepressant that made me have panic attacks every time I smoked weed, so I had to quit. That was in 2018 and since then I have tried a myriad of medications to increase my appetite and nothing has ever worked long term and also without major side effects.

I recently stopped by a dispensary to pick up some 2mg thc 4mg cbd drinks hoping that maybe I could try it again, and they’ve been amazing for my appetite. For the first time in years I’m genuinely craving food. I love feeling relaxed, I love feeling a body high, but I don’t enjoy having a head high in any way, and these give me a bit of one and I’m not really enjoying that part.

So basically, what would you recommend for someone who doesn’t have an appetite at all but also doesn’t want a head high at all?

edit: I want to add that I’m in California and I know the laws have changed recently, if that will change any recommendations for me.

An attempt at a response to the beverage carve-out bill that benefits none of the actual "hemp" products or consumers. It's still in a draft phase looking for interested parties in government to take notice.
