HeyGuey is a Mexican and Chicano-centered community for all of us. Mexicanos, Mexican-Americans, Chicanos, Indigenous, güeros, mestizos, pochos, no-sabos, fluent Spanish speakers, people reconnecting with their roots, and everybody somewhere in between.

We're not here to decide who's “Mexican enough.”

We're here to laugh, talk shit, share our culture, learn from each other, and occasionally disappear down a completely unnecessary rabbit hole at 2 AM.

Bring the memes. Bring the chisme. Bring the conspiracies. Bring the history. Bring the dirty jokes. Bring the family stories. Bring the food arguments. Bring your random thoughts.

Speak English. Habla español. Mix them together porque así hablamos algunos de nosotros.

You don't need a thesis.

Sometimes your entire contribution to the community might be:

And that's good enough.

We can disagree without turning every conversation into a war. We can joke about ourselves. We can teach each other things. And we're not going to have 97 unnecessary rules just so somebody can enjoy pretending they're the assistant principal of Reddit.
