Are you a furry, if so, READ THIS :0!!

For context , I'm a furry and I live in the Antelope Valley! (don't harass me or be rude please :/ ) I've been into furry culture/hobby for a LONG time.. but I noticed all the BIG events are FAR and expensive for me.. and I would preferablly like to meet furries like myself and make friends that live LOCALLY and not halfway across the country (lol).

I've met a FEW but I've never actually seen anyone in full suit lol. I just feel like there could be more here! I'd love to start one if anyone is interested!

All the events I DO see are usually in LA or OC and that's fine.. but I don't own a car and that's far especially if I can only go to them for a day..

If you are a furry or.. I guess an artist who draws furries, comment below! I'd love to know other people like myself and share ideas and talk!

I would like to make a furmeet but.. if I don't know how many people would show up.. I can't really promise to organize anything.

- What activities would I have

-If you know any furry related events, is it for all ages or just adults?

- Do I have to pay to enter??? If I organize my own event, should it be open to the public?

- If there are any, can I sell stuff? (Or would any of you like to sell anything, cards, badges, art, trinkets? Let me know!)

At the end of the day. I just want to make an event that's fun and local in the AV.. since I feel like there isn't much to do.. and for someone like me, it feels kinda difficult to talk about this facet/hobby in my life .. especially to people who get a negative idea of what being a furry is :<

(also not everyone can go down to LA .. disabled.. no car.. barely any money..)

Again, comment below your thoughts!!!

Anyone looking for roommates or to rent somewhere? Needs to be Queer friendly

Hi all, I recently moved back in with my mom into California City. No rent is nice, living with my mom is not. So im looking to move out soon. I start a new job next month, and am hoping to move out by the end of August. Lemme know if anyone has something available, or is seeking to team up. My budget rn, is around 500-600 for a room, but I might be able to raise it to 700-800 if I can find a second job as mine currently is part time. Lemme know! Next two paragraphs are just copy pasted from my roomies profile but it lays everything about me out.

25 year old trans woman. College Grad. Respectful, Clean, Quiet. I have a cat, but might be able to leave him with my mom? But would really prefer not to, he would stay in my room. Currently working as a after school coach in Ridgecrest, Have reliable transportation, good credit, and good rental history.

A little about me is that im really bubbly and a positive person. I will always talk about problems, instead of letting them fester. I moved to Cal City in 2020, left 2023, and came back a few months. Currently living my mom, but want to move out, perferably by the end of august/start of september, once I get a full months pay from my job. In my free time, I play video games, read, and paint. Excited to be your next roommate!

Side note: If you DM me saying I can do sexual favors instead of paying cash I will be reporting you

To the people currently protesting Trump with pride flags on Bear Valley

I appreciate you! I'm trans and the high desert isn't exactly a very welcoming and understanding place. Thank you for at least reminding me that there are some friendly people nearby.

(If you're associated, could you either comment or DM me with resources so I can learn more about your group? 🥺👉👈)

EDIT: A lovely redditor let me know that they're a group called Not Stepping Back, Victorville. They have a Facebook presence but that's about all I could find.

Dog grooming needed

Hello, I’m reaching out to see if any mobile or any storefronts can give my dog a grooming. The reason I’m reaching out here is because my dog has his vaccines but my father did them and we don’t have documentation. So most places won’t accept him because I didn’t go to a vet to do it. I’m unsure of his exact breed as I bought him through Facebook and I never saw his parents. He seems to have pitbull/terrier blood but he’s not bulky or muscular the way other pits are. He’s energetic and not aggressive.

Dont give them your business

Fades4le$$ is the biggest joke on the planet our here. Ripping off my husband last night, you better believe I will come after your manipulative business practice! You cannot do services without asking if that person is able to even pay for it. I am not satisfied Damien. You will be hearing much more from me. Period. Disgusting, disturbing, disgraceful business. 200$ haircut for a man! Over my dead body.

Let's barter!?

Hi community!!!

Do u grow things or make things? Literally anything?! Wanna likeee swap goods? 👉🏽👈🏽 Ya know, like the ancestors!

I have fresh backyard eggs (1 dozen weekly)and small bundles of fresh herbs, I'd love to share with some cool ppl :)))) reoccurring or not!

Maybe you, dear reader have goods you'd like to set up for trade as well? Your super cute crafts or services even?Wouldn't it feel sooo good to build a small sense of community and interact with the exchange of commodities in a way that feels more like ✨friend✨ and not just consumer?

Great! Let's do it! <3

fast food or restaurants that hire 14 year olds.

My little sister has weirdly always wanted to work at a restaurant or fast food chain as soon as she turned old enough. problem is she’s only 14 so she’s very out of radar for these places We tried the chick-fil-a on mariposa since we heard that chick-fil-a hires 14 year olds… but they told us 16 and up. It made her oddly really sad 😭..I don’t like seeing my little sister bummed out so I was wondering if there’s a fast food chain or restaurant here or even a store that hires 14 year olds in the victorville area?

Is there any warehousing jobs in Apple Valley/Hesperia

I have 5 years of experience at Walmart DC and having issues finding any type of job. And commuting right now too far isn’t possible.
