FEG P9M

Rescued this FEG P9M that's been used and abused from a local shop. Inside looks as bad as the outside. It's missing the slide release and some bubba inserted a machine screw

But other than that. The parts are serviceable but nasty dirty

Need some honest feedback and a little help

Been talking with chat gpt about modding my Inglis gp-35. I am trying to somewhat match my 92fs from blackbeards(second pic). This is what we came up with.
1.) does it look as nice as I think it does

2.) where the heck can I get a decent titanium nitride job done in all the small parts for not a ridiculous Amount of money. Like under $250

Duty holster recommendations?

Does anyone have any recommendations for "duty" style holsters? Or maybe what safariland model might work for a BHP?

1970 C series Hi Power

At the end of May I attended a small 100 table gun show. A dealer had this Hi Power. It has 56 years of holster wear, a few scratches and some freckling. I got a good deal on it. When I got it home I field stripped and cleaned the semi congealed grease and oil out of it and headed for the range. As of today I have put 200 rounds thru it with no failures of any kind.

Grips input for Inglis GP-35

Here are my Inglis and Arcus couple.

I just added the new ZIB grips to the Inglis. They are nice quality, right fit, and have an impressive appearance, but I am not sure if they are better than the original wood. Thoughts?

Need a magazine for an Argentine hi power.

My step dad’s hipower serial # is in the 309XXX range. I was wanting to get a replacement mag for him. I’ve seen MecGar recommended everywhere. Also it’s not the sa35 mag right? From what I’ve seen that’s the new model which isnt compatible with older hi powers , I might be wrong tho just read up a bit on it.

Also the mag it has right now doesn’t fit snug it has a bit of play main reason I want to get him a replacement or 2.

Hi-Power inherited questions

Hello all, I just inherited this FEG Hi-Power and was wondering if anyone knew anything about it.

Is this an early or later produced HP? How old roughly?

How close is this to the original BHP?

How reliable would this one be and is FEG reputable?

Why is this one chrome and coated differently then other FEG HPs?

If i wanted to swap the sights, how do I know what is compatible? Same question for the grips

What would be the approximate appraisal? (No sell, only buy)

Can the magazine disconnect be removed?

Should I replace any other internal parts such as springs?
