Looking for something budget friendly and is 10 round complaint.

John Moses Browning is one of my favorite Americas (not just because we share a middle name) who created the greatest piece of machinery that is the 1911. I own a 1911 clone from Tisas and I love it. I have put about 400 rounds through it and it still runs like a well oiled machine. Then I met the Hi Power, it's like the 1911's elegant younger brother. I am waiting on pistol permits and I wanted to know which of the clone models is not killer on the wallet but also comes with 10 round magazines. From my own research is seems like the the MCP35 that checks off both my boxes. For owners of the MCP35, how is it? I hear the trigger is rather stiff for a single action pistol. FN is out of my budget and any other clones don't come with 10 round mags from the distributors. Should I seek out a dealer for these brands or see what my LGS can do? They told me that anything they get will be pinned to 10 rounds here in NJ.

New SA-35

Just got this Springfield and have ran about 200 rounds through it. Absolutely flawless. Pictured with my stepdads original up top

Life is too short for a safe full of exclusively polymer pistols.

The new high polish SA-35 is the latest addition to my collection of dressed up legendary pistols.

Question

Recently bought a 1990 Browning Highpower from a friend of mine. Does the safety only work in the half cock position? Sorry if this seems like a stupid question. Thank you in advance.

Alloy PI model update.

Passed 600 rounds on the girsan today, lightweight PI. I had four stovepipes in the first few magazines a while back, otherwise no problems besides the sights being off. Wear looks normal, it's sprung pretty tightly. I like the flat spring/FL guide. It's not picky about grip or magazine spring strength. No issues with the extractor yet, I'll trust it after 1000.

Blurry grabs from videos I took to see if I tightened my extractor fitting enough on the browning (nope)

Inherited a Signature model from my late Father in Law

Not pictured is the original Signature grip that I just changed out for this wood set. Not sure how much I like the two tone with wood now but I’ll see if it grows on me.

New barrel comes with new nub

I have a girsan mc p35 match ops, old barrel does not have this nub and the slide is not cut for it, should I just lop it off, or work this down until I achieve an optimal headspace? If so what headspacing am I shooting for. Thanks

The Girsan MC P35 OPS is a good shooter

This is a pretty good shooter for the price, I got mine on sale online. Does anyone have recommendations on a better front site, I've taken it to the range a couple of times but I don't care for it
