How can I get legit vintage hmt?
Nowadays, I'm very interested in vintage HMT watches. After I bought two of them and started waiting for them to arrive, I realized that there are way more fakes and Frankenwatches out there than I expected. I guess there's not much I can do about the two I've already bought, but going forward, how can I make sure I'm buying a genuinely original vintage HMT with its original parts?
+) I know HMT has an official website, but as far as I know, the watches they sell there aren't really vintage, and it doesn't seem like they're going to restock the older models anytime soon.
Also, on HMT's official website, they list most third-party sellers as “fake sellers.” Does this simply mean that those sellers are not authorized by HMT, or does it actually mean that even the watches they sell as “original” are not fully original—such as Frankenwatches or modified watches, essentially “fake” HMTs?
