Hi everyone! I’m looking for an authentic HMT Rajat Premium Automatic (Blue Dial) as a gift for my boyfriend, who has been wanting this watch for a long time.

It’s currently out of stock, and I’m trying to find a genuine original/NOS piece, not a refurbished or aftermarket/franken watch.

If anyone knows a trusted seller/collector who has one available, or knows where I might be able to find one, please help. 🙏

I just received my hmt janata frenken from vintage watcholics , yesterday it was working fine , but today is really isnt ticking , everime i set a time it is stoping in 10 sec and even after hand movement it is ticking just for 10 sec , what should i do , can a local watch mechanic fix it

Just picked up my second HMT Gandaberunda, and I’m loving the details on this one. ❤️

The dark blue hands look fantastic, and the arrow-shaped seconds hand gives the watch a distinctive character. These small details really make the dial stand out, especially under different lighting.

Received my DWC Devanagari Lilac today, and I have to say the dial looks even more interesting in person. The lilac colour has a really nice character to it, especially under different lighting.

Found this old HMT quartz HQ in my grandfather's collection. Love the design and the feel on wrists. Is it worth restoring?

This was gifted to him by IOC for his 20 years of service. It has 'Indian Oil' printed on its caseback.

I have an old HMT watch that has some issues and I’d really like to get it repaired/restored.

Started loving analog watches from 9th, currently passed 12th and Just few days back got to know that there's a hmt museum just few kilometres from my home. Went there today and it was a really good experience for 30₹ entry fee. Here's a glimpse...

There still lot more to the museum, showcasing their tools and machinery used for different purposes, tractors , ball bearings and their history. They also had a working hmt tractor which you can go on a ride by paying 30₹ more.

I have only added limited photos as it's not allowed to take photos and also I was just enjoying the experience.
