what are some ways to cure my severe anxiety, also anxious attachment?

i’ve struggled for a long fine with anxiety as a kid and i’m very against meditation. I’ve tried it especially when i was 15-16 my foster mom put me on it. It made me feel like a zombie, like i couldn’t be myself. Now as an adult i have gone to therapy and counseling and have been told meds are the only way to go because it is so bad. Especially being anxiously attached to my bf is hard. It affects us both and he is avoidant attachment. Is there some herbal stuff that could calm down my anxiety or anything? (also on the note of anxiety my dog even before he was mine has been anxious all the time and me being anxious doesn’t help…) I have gone down to the root of why i’m anxious if that helps, as a kid my mom was always nervous… i mean always. also my whole family on my moms side is similar to me. and i have huge abandonment issues i was in foster care from 7-17.. tells its own story with have 15+ families.

Looking for holistic ways to quiet food noise and loose weight

I’ve been dealing with pretty constant food noise and I’m intentionally avoiding GLP-1s / weight-loss meds. I’m more interested in holistic, nervous-system, and energy based approaches.
Has anyone found things that actually help turn the volume down things like breathwork, specific herbs, Ayurvedic practices, somatic work, sound frequencies, mindset shifts, rituals, etc??

Tea from my garden

The picture was pretty so I just wanted to brag. Passion flower, chamomile and catmint, I boiled a cup of water, left the plants in water for 20 minutes and added some honey. Taste was not the greatest, it had that bitter after-taste from chamomile. In 10 minutes I had to go to bed. The feeling was like someone was hugging me, very relaxed body feeling, very content and calm. I still feel little sedated next day, but completely fine to drive and work. I am just amazed how well this works. Can't wait for another 10 passion flowers to open next week. I'm going to drink all of them. I am not sure if I used too much or I am reacting good to those. Lemon balm does something similar to me.
