I've lived in Huddersfield almost a year now, but I've struggled to make any friendships in the area. I'm wondering if there'd be interest in starting a friend's group for meetups? Or are there such groups already ongoing? I'm 33, female, NOT looking for anything beyond platonic friendships. I don't use any other social media.

Is the on street parking round the back usually available.

Hello. I have a shaggy rug with a deep pile, and the fibres have become matted, flattened, and compacted over time. I'm looking for someone who can restore it to its original fluffy texture. Does anyone have any recommendations of places that will do this?
I've contacted a few, but they've said they can only clean it but can't restore it to origibal form.
Hi! I’m starting university in Lincoln this September and it’s quite far from where I live. I only need to be on campus for 9 on Mondays. So I was wondering if anyone will be driving to Lincoln from anywhere around Huddersfield? And if you would be willing to split petrol.
I also don’t mind traveling by train together, if not. I feel like having someone to travel with might make the journey less exhausting. I tried Apps like lift-share and a few Facebook groups but had no luck, so this is the next best thing I could think of.
I tried Bigbox but moved to the complete otherside of town and now cba getting two buses for a £70 membership.

I go to uni of Huddersfield! Although I’ve been in UK For 10 years am socially awkward speaking English with people. Like I know how to speak but words just disspear and I quite recently did interviews for placement jobs and I failed which was I think because i wasnt comfortable speaking English to em. So I just really need mates that I can talk to irl, do activities as well maybe hike,party’s, theme parks idk all sort of stuff, I drive so maybe we can go places. A while back I posted images of some Victoria tower models I made with a good few people asking and showing interest from the DnD community. I was specifically asked about a dice tower.
Over the weekend I tried creating one which can be 3d printed. I would appreciate any feedback as I’m not a dnd player.
Would dnd players be interested in if I offered prints or print files for this? Or does it need to be modified?
