Vitamin D and Parathyroid/PTH correlation?
Hello, I want to ask, can anyone tell me about their experiences with possibly PTH issues? I'm getting an appt. With my doc soon but don't know how to present it exactly, my Vit D. Levels are 10ng/mL, which AFAIK should mean my calcium is low, and my PTH should be on the higher end, but it looks like they might be a bit out of wack? Phosphorus also shows up as too high, which would make sense with an under functioning gland, but then calcium should be low (especially considering my severe vit D deficiency)
Does anyone have any advice on how worried I should even be about this? Thank you!
