Help with BSOD

Help with BSOD

My boyfriend bought a gaming pc from ibuypower a year or so before we met- we have now been dating 4 years and he has never been able to run big games like fortnite without it crashing , and as the years gone on the BSOD pops up randomly and a lot, youtube, booting up- the thing gets over worked from certain roblox games. Always different error codes. 0x00000050 (PAGE\_FAULT\_IN\_NONPAGED\_AREA) , one for memory etc. Ran some diagnostics it said there were some corrupted files it couldn't fix, memory diagnostic came back fine and I updated the ssd to no avail. Tried to factory reset keeping his files but it just shit itself at 100% and crashed. Wanna try to get this this at least running some games for him. Any advice ?

Beginner here, is this a good pc? Any experience with it?

I am looking to finally switch from console to pc gaming. I have been wanting to build my own, but not being able to find ram that isn’t less than $400, I’ve decided to look at prebuilts, and found this one. Sorry I’m new to this, so the specs are on the top of the listing. I just want to know if this is a good pc. The only real multiplayer game I play is rainbow six siege, and the rest would just be story games that I would want to mod. Would this hold up with good graphics? Also would I be able to in the far feature be able to upgrade it when it gets outdated? I’m new to this, so if it would be too much or better options, suggestions would help.

PC Idling Sounds Like An Old Refrigerator

Hello! I just purchased a pre-built (Element Pro R08) from ibuypower. It has a 360mm AIO cooling system. I've never had a liquid cooled PC, is this sound normal?

Y40 prebuilt from Walmart freezing.

I purchased this on the 23rd of June, was delivered on the 26th.

From the start it will just randomly freeze, causing a hard restart needing to be done.

I have run a memory test, that is fine. It does a stress test fine, I am really not sure what to do, other than return it, but would love to be able to keep it.

It really is just random, it could be fine all day, gaming and everything, and then freeze as I disconnect my Bluetooth headset. Or, I will be in the middle of a game, and suddenly freeze. Or, doing nothing, just walk away from the computer, sitting idle, and it freezes.

Finding current wattage of iBuyPower PC

I bought my prebuilt back in 2021 and wanted to try upgrading, but I need to know the current wattage. The listing is gone and I don't seem to have any emails regarding the order, so it's hard to figure out if I have proper wattage or will need to upgrade my psu.

The sticker on the back says it's an "i Series G249A659 020921", but I can't find the specific model anywhere and I can't access the power supply without getting a different screwdriver for the case screws.

My Reward Points Story

TLDR; Giveaway reward points are ineligible for 2x reward points value promo.

Hi all- just wanted to share this with the community.

I am 1 of 26 winners from iBP’s $26k for 26 years giveaway. I received the reward in March and have been sitting on the bulk of it ever since.

If you didn’t know, iBP is currently running a 2x reward points value + earned promotion right now. I (mistakenly?) thought this would double my reward points during this event.

However, the points refused to apply at checkout and after contacting a customer support live agent, I was eventually informed that I couldn’t use these points during this promo (despite not being stated in the giveaway’s terms & conditions).

I am super grateful for this prize. I am also bummed and a bit thrown off by this scenario. I think both can be true.

Like, I currently couldn’t even take advantage of July 4th sales with my reward points if I wanted to because it’s running concurrently with the 2x points promo. Just super strange.

Curious to hear your thoughts on this!

Is CPU Cooler working correctly?

Hi everyone, I got the Y40 Walmart deal and wanted to know if my CPU cooler is fine? I see others that have the logo but mine just has lights on the back of it as you can see in the second image. The third image is what another persons same rig looks like.

Advanced RMA Claiming they only received part of the full return

I initiated an advanced RMA for a faulty RAM kit I had for a prebuilt still under warranty on the 6/2, Ibp shipped it out on 6/5, I received the replacement on 6/11 and shipped out the faulty modules the same day with FedEx , IBP says they received it on the 19th and just this evening I was updated that they only received a single stick. I requested additional info from the person that emailed me regarding it but I’m doubtful I’m going to receive any additional information on the package contents when they received it. Reaching out on here cause I’m desperate to figure out what to do next as I’m on the hook for the deposit now.

I purchased a Ibuypower pre built PC and no games will get pass the loading screen.

I've updated the drivers, reseated the GPU, deleted the old drivers and run into the same issue. I am at a loss. I'd love ANYONE's help. I have an Asus Geforce RTX gpu.

  • Processor (CPU): Intel Core i7-13700 (up to 5.1 GHz)
  • Graphics (GPU): NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070
  • Memory (RAM): 32GB DDR5
  • Storage: 1TB or 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD
  • Operating System: Windows 11

I am getting a black screen with the music in the background. It is infuriating!

GPU not Performing/Crashing

Bought the Walmart deal. 9070 XT does not seem to light up or spun, but it is detected by Windows. I ran my rendering software and when I turned on the path tracer, it loaded much slower than the 3070 on my work computer. When I went to export the render, the software crashed.

So clearly, something is up. I am unsure of how to approach this, though.

PC constantly crashing

I don’t think I’ve ever gone a day where my PC hasn’t crashed out of a game. Keep in mind it wasn’t always like this. I’ll constantly crash out of games like Valorant, Fortnite, GTA, and even games like Minecraft and Roblox. It is very annoying and I’ve tried many things, I have a 4060 graphics card with an i7-13700F cpu and constantly download the new drivers and still. I also do have wallpaper engine installed and recently disabled the run in the background feature thinking that was the problem and it continued to crash. I’m unaware if this is an internal problem or hardware problem but someone please let me know if you have a solution! Thank you!

AIO noise

Hey everyone! I jumped on the Costco deal for the IBP Element yesterday. Beast of a machine - loving it.

A bit worried about the AIO though. It sounds like an old refrigerator lol. Video shows side off with sys_fan2 at full speed. I tried loosening and tightening the AIO screws a bit, and I made sure no cords were getting rattled. Also tried tilting to release air bubbles.

It’s cooling the card plenty fine, but the noise is concerning. Any ideas?

Fans are very loud

Hi everyone! I just got my first gaming pc and right out of the box the fans are very loud when I’m not even doing anything, just set it up and idling on my desktop, and the fans were going crazy. One of my friends said the fans sound really fast and said I could change it, but I don’t have any idea how. Does anyone know how that could be changed? Thanks!

Specific parts (Costco)

I am considering upgrading from my pc I built like 6-7 years ago and with the current condition of the market it looks like this pre built that Costco has in a deal seems like some of the best pricing you can get on most of these parts. Has anyone gotten this specific PC and can confirm parts?

It doesn't mention on the listing what the drive is, just says 2tb m.2 drive. I would also like to know what the PSU is, it just mentions being 750w but that's about it. I usually prefer to get 80 plus gold psus.

If anyone has some info on specifics that would be greatly appreciated:)
