My GPU is making a buzzing sound under heavy load

I feel like I have to do another RMA. Any time I play an unreal game the gpu makes a buzzing sound. It’s recent and I only had it for 7months is this normal

VGA White Light

Ever since I installed my new 9070 xt, my pc sometimes does not turn on. I get a white light in the vga area on my motherboard. I put in my old card and it turned on. It works sometimes but also doesn’t turn on.

I finally fixed my frametime spikes and input lag

I thought my PC was just weak, but most of the issue ended up being Windows background settings and bad NVIDIA defaults.

The biggest improvements for me were:

  • disabling unnecessary startup/background apps
  • changing low latency settings
  • fixing fullscreen optimization settings
  • cleaning up Windows gaming features

Games feel WAY smoother now, especially Valorant and LoL.

BIOS not updating!

I bought an iBuypower Slate with 9800X3D and 9070XT in January of this year from Bestbuy. I have tried to update the BIOS of the motherboard to the latest version but it never worked neither instant flashback or regular flashback worked. I am so confused. Does iBuypower lock the BIOS of their motherboards? Does anyone know what could be wrong? I am just worried since ASRock has been known to brick 9800X3Ds.
Motherboard: ASRock B650M-CX R2.0

A quick and smooth RMA all ruined because my PC wasn't sent to me...

Really irritated and annoyed and figured I'd vent my frustrations...

I ordered a very high end PC that eventually stopped working due the the motherboard and a full corruption of Windows 11. I bring it to an IT, tells me it's the motherboard and If I had the warranty. Which I do. So I end up sending my PC through UPS, and pay for the insurance to cover it because it's so expensive. The manafacturer gets my computer and they tell me through email that it will eventually get put on the bench on queue to get worked on. Great, now I just wait no big deal. Few days pass, they keep me updated along the way which was amazing on their end. Finally they figure out yes they will take care of the PC because of stated issues. They end up telling me ok we will get it sent, and will update you with the tracking number etc. COOL. Left a quick review saying "Thank you to so and so for the quick work etc blah blah" Yea OK. I receive the tracking number and am looking at the UPS website like a hawk..

Says it will be delivered today (5/16/2026) between 2:00-6:00pm. AMAZING IM READY..... Wake up around 9 and read a update text and email from UPS saying "PACKAGE DELIVERED(huehue)) WHAT? I didn't sign anything or hear anything.....? My wife and kids are home surely they would hear something if it came by right??

NAH we just sent it to Tennessee not California.....

BRUH.

I just wanna play guys...

Psu Replacement Help

I am in the process of replacing my ThermalTake TOUGHPOWER 750w psu with an RM1000x(not shift series). When removing all the cables from the old psu, I can across the fan hub in the back. When trying to remove the cable, I found it was glued to it. When tracing the gable, there was another cable that connected the cable glued to a psu cable from the old psu. I looked at the RM1000x cables and none of the match with this connector cable. What do I do?

Finally upgraded after over a decade.

The iseries 301 I bought as my first computer finally died after years. I am cry. Big tears. Much sad.

I bought a newer build as consolation at extreme deals. Idk how big of an upgrade since I’m still a casual. Y’all think this is a big jump? It looks way better for sure.

(301: amd3 chip and a 270x I believe. TRACEM?: has a nvidia 3060ti, i5 13400f, and some cool ddr4 sticks.)

Liquid Cooler Display

Hi! Just bought a pre-built with the AW5 liquid cooler.

It seems to be getting power and lights up, but the temp isn’t displaying. I don’t see it showing up on the Gigabyte Control Center either.

Anyone know if there are some separate software or drivers I need to download?

!PSA! Do NOT buy a PC from Walmart.

Buddy of mine came to me with this "Brand New" computer from Walmart that he bought this week. It's supposed to be an I series 901 with an Intel Ultra 7 and a 5070. Instead it's the CASE of an I series with an lga 1151 motherboard with no CPU RAM SSD or CMOS battery, a unknown XFX gpu with a broken fan that had the information sticker rubbed off the back, a water cooler with cut wires, and a 80 plus 600 watt EVGA psu. It came out of the box like this and it's made me pissed. It's Obvious someone bought this took the new components out put these in and returned it. Walmart is refusing to let him return this, so word to the wise be careful and buy online or at Micro Center.

One fan stopped lighting up and I get a ene.sys error

So recently my computer's top most fan, an iBUYPOWER fan stopped doing RGB and I get a ene.sys error, I try the ene.sys.old trick, and it only stops me from getting the message but my fan is still not lighting up even after restarting, I try updating rgb software only to find the ASRock B365M IB-R has no software so I try using the B365M Pro4 which is the closest edition and nothing happens. Does anyone have any advice or help please?

Upgrading my gaming pc, need help

I currently have an older budget friendly pc that Id like to upgrade to play spiderman and newer games on that require higher performance. Its just a gaming PC that i bought from a guy at work a couple years ago. I'm not super familiar with building PC's but I have 8gb of ram. My storage is 1tb HDD.

My graphics card is fine I think so all I would need to do is upgrade the ram and maybe get a SSD? I was thinking of going to 32gb of ram but some say 16gb would be fine. I'm ignorant to PC's so I apologize. I'll list my current specs below.

Am I correct on this? If so, how much should I expect to spend and any suggestions on how to get what I need are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) 15-9400F CPU @ 2.90GHz

Installed RAM: 8.00 GB

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 (6 GB)

Storage: 932 GB HDD WDC WD10EZEX-08WN4A0. 224 GB SSD Maxtor Z1 SSD 240GB

System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

iBUYPOWER TraceMR 2040 randomly rebooting

my pc is specifically iBUYPOWER - TraceMR Gaming Desktop - Intel i7-12700KF - 16GB DDR4 Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 - 1TB NVMe SSD , had it for about 3 years now, only thing i've changed from the prebuilt is adding another ssd.

What has happened 3 times now, all while i was playing games, is the pc randomly shutting down and then coming back on again within seconds. The first time was a few weeks ago so I don't remember much, but the latter two were both today, pc shut down and restarted and I immediately hopped on the game I was playing again only for the same issue to reoccur about an hour later. During this time around when the pc would reboot I would experience issues like the game I'm playing slowing down unexpectedly, or a video i had on the side freezing its visuals unless i was focused on it, and if i did that the game would slow down again. It was nothing so egregious that i stopped playing immediately, but its definitely not the norm (i wasnt playing a new, suddenly more intensive game either).

After the second shutdown today I took the pc apart, reseated the ram and did some dusting out of the pc and im going to install something to track the heat to make sure its not a cooling issue, because all the times this has happened so far is when i have been running a game for hours. I also check the event viewer but I don't know much about how that works, the only message that seemed helpful was one that said "the proccess StartMenuExperienceHost.exe has initiated the power off of computer [my pc's name] on behalf of [my pc username] for the following reason: Other (Unplanned) Reason Code: 0x0" but I only saw one other post after a quick search talking about a similar code.

Hopefully what I did solves the issue but I've read some posts about ibuypower psu's or cpu cooling having issues so I wanted to ask and see if anyone else had the same problem before so if it happens again i can know what steps to maybe take next.
